  1. There are four announcements over the week and these announce different transactions. The second last transaction is the interesting one, which states that 7% of Murray's shares has moved to another company which is also listed as part of the MIH empire - most probably the company that the earlier poster is on about with King. Murray has went from just under 92% to 85% this week. My interpretation is that SDM is cleaning the ship for the sale and he has had his Trust quoted as benefactors of the 85% - naming his kids in the trust, so this is deffo prior to a sale
  2. Who gives a flying fook if his uncle, brother, sister or auntie blew a hole in a terrorists body - it was not he who pulled the trigger! That said, any terrorist deserves to be killed! Celtic fans are always at the wind up before a big OF game - most probably there will be no story on Sunday; other than Lennon touching cloth
  3. There are four announcements in total this week, so shares are moving about for some reason - let's hope it is not to keep the administrators from touching us!
  4. That looks to me that MIH have sold the lion share of the club and have lost its voting rights on the board, so in effect, sold the club. I am sure it will be reported tomorrow - good spot!
  5. Here is a thought - if you were an Ibrox legend with a desire to keep that status, would this be the right time to take the reigns as a manager of the club? Now I know some of you are going to jump on this and state that if the club calls etc., then he must take it but please take a minute to think about it before doing so - will Ally be brave enough to put his reputation on the line during a time when the football club he loves is under full reconstruction in terms of ownership and strategy?
  6. With streaming audio over the net becoming easier, why not have a RM weekly radio slot online? Fan opinions and good old hearty debate between true fans of the Gers.
  7. Sounds like the same response that Kenny Miller got, talk about giving a guy a chance!
  8. Unless something mental happens from now until the end of the season, why would anyone opt to leave the club they love? Obviously some people might not be able to afford it but other than that, it is pretty sad that we are debating this. Just because we are not spending money, does not mean we should throw the smartcards away.
  9. I have been crying out for this since the extent of our debts were revealed and it is good to see others calling for the same. Look at Beattie, for instance, what has his fee and wages done for the SPL challenge?
  10. I am getting a tad tired of Rangers fans ripping the club, its owner and its prospective buyer. Rangers spent nearly £6M in the summer, yet that is forgotten when January comes around. Is it the clubs fault that this fund was spent on two players? It is the manager who spends the fund. David Murray has given the Ranger a good 20 year ride and given him a team to celebrate but the time has come for him to go back to concentrating on his main business and because of that, he has no time or money for the club - thanks SDM, I accept that and good luck in your business. Any prospective buyer has the right to take his time in buying the club and if truth be told, I would rather he took his time. If he were to buy Rangers regardless of potential debts coming up in the future, it would make me think he has alterior motives and can see a profit in the business, rather than wanting to take a club and build it back to what it was or better, then see a profit.
  11. 1 up front against Hearts - time for Walter to step aside
  12. So, if I were going; which I am not, you would want me to swap my seat with someone I do not know and trust he does not get fingered by security for something illegal? That happens and they check the purchase information and my details are banned from all stadia - nae bother!
  13. I have been transferred to a seat in my house for the past 4 games, due to a family accident. Cannie wait to get back to it but the next Saturday game is 12th of bloody Feb! Don't normally go to the weekday games due to the time we would get back and the bairn has school.

  15. Today was the fourth time this season my son and I have missed out, this time due to a family injury. As we are smartcard holders, I have no way of ensuring these go to good use unless I offer to friends. Has anyone used the club sell back faclility and does it work?
  16. Not knowing if this member has shown a poor debating technique in the past, I can only go by his post that you quoted and he said everything I was thinking with one image. How can anyone say he has to do better? He has 23 goals and has had 20 before Christmas - if the 'Tic had anyone capable of that, we would be jealous, regardless of whether they lost form at a crucial time. I agree he was absolute dross today but I am not surprised. Not only has he had a few decisions to make over the last week or so, he has had mixed reactions from the supporters who apparently cheer his every goal for Rangers. It seems everyone who considers a move from Rangers is instantly berated by certain Rangers fans, regardless of their thoughts in the past and some of those fans need to get a grip; to be quite honest. If we buy a player for £2M and then sell him for £3M after giving us 11 goals from 38 games and hell of a lot of energy that contributed to even more goals, we should be thankfull. If we then buy that player back for £2M and he gives us 50 goals from 82 appearances and he again created planty for our other strikers, we should be thankfull. You may want rid of him because he played for Celtic at one point but so feck - he only played for them once, he has played for us twice! 61 goals from 120 appearances and cost us £1M (if we get nothing from a sale in January and he leaves in June) - a decent return in my eyes.
  17. You took some words from my mouth.... Whittaker just blooters the penalties and they look good right up to the point where thay are saved or they miss. As soon as that happens, I bet Walter will be branded a fud for having him take the penalties. I think the answer is very simple - Whittaker took the penalty mid week due to the recognised taker being missing in action and Naismith had been subbed before the penalty was given. Whittaker had the balls to take it then and I expect the team; including Miller, respected that and he was given the task today. Footballers are like this and they like the superstitions etc.. Those looking for the bigger picture are clutching at straws, IMO.
  18. How sad am I but I found this fooking hilarious!
  19. £300k for Miller from Fiorentina, £1M+ for Goodwillie - absolutely no chance!
  20. Ahh, that explains it then. They were mince anyway, pixelated all over the place. I took the missus to the Bon Jovi concert the year they were fitted (1996), so I am not surprised they are guffed.
  21. It's funny as I clearly noted the screen working at the Broomie in the images from the 3rd January, yet it is not on during matches anymore - unless that is them fixed? Was it on during the Celtic game? Interesting to know if they are on tonight.
  22. :mcgregor: :bougherra: :weir: :papac: :davis: :edu: :weiss: :fleck: :beattie: This is a big game for us as we try to bounce back from the Celtic defeat and because of that, Miller needs to sit this one out whilst he ponders his future. So I am giving Naisy the chance up front, with Beattie. I would have McMillan in instead of Weir but I doubt Walter will give him the chance.
  23. Buy this man a pint! Well said mate
  24. I wonder if you maybe should have taken a little time to think about ripping the pish out of this member? You say that he made a head up the arse comment and then you go on to state you thought we could afford the spending that was happening and then, you ask him if he knows how debt works. I think you forgot to consider that, like most football teams, the club business is run around loans and overdrafts and that there are very few teams out there that can boast to be buying players from real hard earned cash. So, if anyone had their head up their arse, it might have been those who thought David murray was spending £12M on Tore Andre Flo from his own personal bank account!
  25. What is wrong with a season ticket holder opting to leave early? We leave 5-10 minutes early most weeks simply because we have a long drive home and if we don't, the journey home would take over 2 hours. Couple that with the fact we have to leave home at 12pm, in order to get there in plenty of time, you might understand that people leaving early might have a reason and as they pay their ticket price and dedicate a lot of personal time to watch their team. Rangers supporter I am, glory hunter I am not!
