Not being caught up in the daily firestorm that is the Scottish press, to me Kennedy still has to be the preferred bid. Murray and his little minions have mentioned nil on-toward funds, outside of the one bloke suddenly having £33m in the bank. The people giving him credit for being on the board when the debt was halved are now carefully ignoring the fact that Lloyds had the first and last word on every piece of business done. And there's still every chance him and King won't be allowed in the board room. Murray's pandering to supporters' groups who in-turn are trying to rally support for him by every means possible. They want their comfy chairs up in the boxes. Kennedy won't allow such nonsensical things to enter into the conversation, so he's getting the knife driven in in various corners of our universe. But he's run his club right, emphasis on internal development (Murray Park anyone?), secured significant sponsorship, and even had the decency to wipe out Stockport's back rent. I'd rather have the guy with viable liquid assets saying he's only doing this because he wants Rangers to survive than the guy paying lip service to every fans group he can track down, and with no answers to the big tax case.

There's a baseball sim been on the market for a long time that lets you go back to any year in history, back into the 1800s. Players come in when they're supposed to and whatnot, but it gets a little dull. Partly because their sim-engine is far more simplified and predictable than FMs, mostly because if you know when Babe Ruth (or Ted Williams, Tom Seaver, etc etc) comes into the game it's not that hard to get him before he gets started.

I felt bad for wee Rhys, should've been Edu at the back and him in the middle. If you have to play youth team players at least try to play them in position. Most of the senior lads should be able to cope with having to move around a bit better. If Fleck doesn't succeed he's just another part of a lost generation of talent that we've squandered. Murray Park has been in place for a good long while, and our first team has very little to show for it.

RFFF and RCF are the two we're supporting right now. Hopefully after this week when we cut the first checks to them they'll be more inclined to give us a nod and let us in the family. HOPEFULLY (we both had matches today which slowed developments) the affiliate program with the Timbers supporters will be up and running tomorrow, which will give us a bit more credibility among fans still a little shaky at the moment. I took my beatings too for doing what I thought was the best effort I could make for our club right now, and I'm gonna keep on doing it well after we're back thumping the scum about the head and raking in trophies. Starting Rags for Rangers hasn't been easy, but I thought it was something important and I'm proud of the money we're raising for the club and for charity. It's not much so far but it's early days. In the end we all march a thousand different ways to the same ends: we all love this club, above everything else. Now I'm off to hump timmy in FM. Cheers boys.

My attitude would let me down too if I was groomed to be a #10 and then only ever given run outs on the left flank and rarely allowed to drift inside. He's been horribly handled since he broke into the side. Surely some of it's an internal struggle for the lad, but the coaching staff has done their part. Fleck could still be a very useful player for us. It's not like Stevie Naismith was fucking gangbusters from the word go.
