  1. I'll be surprised if any of the current crop of British achieve that to be honest. Was against Hatton's comeback at first but now that it's almost here I can't help but look forward to it.
  2. I think that as well. Ideally he gets past Walsh then fights the winner of Broner-DeMarco and after that, whether he wins or loses, he moves up to 140. He looks like a huge lightweight.
  3. Still loads of conflicting reports with regards to Manny Steward.
  4. Couldn't be Vazquez, he fights this weekend so unrealistic to expect him to travel for a fight in December. I reckon if Burns wins he will fight the winner of Broner-DeMarco. No reason for it not to happen and Burns will be the only worthwhile fight for Broner or DeMarco at 135 after their fight.
  5. Devon Alexander says he's willing to fight Brook but it has to be in the US. Khan's trainer, Virgil Hunter, says if a fight with Brook was to happen now then there is no chance it would be a 50/50 split.
  6. It's a horrible fight but to be fair Warren tried for Gavin Rees and Messiah Eddie Hearn rejected it.
  7. Puts his punches together nicely but hard to tell how good he is or how good he will be. Too early to tell.
  8. The US card was good on Saturday night. Alexander-Bailey was awful. N'Dam-Quillin was good and so was Malignaggi-Cano. Garcia's KO of Morales was stunning.
  9. That was a big step down in opposition from the Jones fight. KO'd by a jab? WTF. Still not sold on Brook, but you'd think he was P4P number 1 by the way Sky Sports talk about him.
  10. When thinking about it not in the immediate aftermath of the fight, I preferred Juanma-Salido as opposed to Rios-Alvarado. Martinez-Beltran is up there as well, as is Huck-Afolabi.
  11. If you like boxing then Box Nation is well worth the tenner a month IMO.
  12. Erik Morales has failed a drug test apparently ahead of his rematch with Danny Garcia on Saturday night. Fight could be off.
  13. I think Fury-Price is closer than people think but ultimately Price KO's him.
  14. Price never gave Audley a chance. Soon as that right landed it was all over. DeGale struggled a bit but I put that down to in-activity, he'll improve if he keeps himself active and gets himself in top shape. Rios-Alvarado was fight of the year. Donaire-Nishioka was a bit of a let down as Nishioka seemed more intent on defence than offence, but he is a top fighter and Donaire dominated him.
  15. I'd love to see it. I think if Donaire wins tonight he'll move up to featherweight.
  16. Was just the way he reacted to a couple of left hooks in that fight that got me thinking Donaire could get the better of him.
  17. After seeing Rigo's last fight I'm not so sure he beats Nonito, but would certainly be one of Donaire's toughest tests. I think Moreno stands a better chance of beating Donaire than Rigo does.
  18. Price vs Harrison tonight on box nation. DeGale on Channel 5 at 10pm Donaire vs Nishioka and Rios vs Alvarado in the early hours of the morning. Not a bad night of boxing.
  19. Yip, but he's terrible apparently. According to some, this fight is worse than Karpency
  20. Nathan Cleverly to fight in America on November 10 against Ryan Coyne. On the undercard of Abner Mares vs. Anselmo Moreno.
  21. I doubt that happens to be honest. Can't see Hearn allowing Rees to fight on Box Nation or Frank allowing Burns to fight on Sky Sports. Still think Burns' next opponent will be Jose Gonzalez if Gonzalez wins this weekend and doesn't suffer an injury.
  22. Burns back on December 15th in London. George Groves, Tony Conquest and Billy Joe Saunders will all be on the card. Opponents will be announced next week. There's a chance that Eddie Hearn will have a card on the same night in London as well.
