Oh really? The only reason i'd said Ukraine was because of their oil money and didn't think Poland had much. My girlfriend went to Ukraine a few years ago and she said at the part they were in it had horse drawn carts and all sorts, really backwards. Obviously I imagine the major cities would be different but much the same as Russia. Huge gap between the rich and the poor. Just guessed the Oil rich were funding the bid and hosting of the tournament. But interesting point you made I didn't really know that Poland was that well off at the top. Born in England, would obviously be interested in playing for England and it would take my career further by playing for them (major tournaments and all) but due to supporting Rangers all my life i've always had much more of an emotional tug towards supporting Scotland's football team because of there being players from our team playing for them. I do still support England but strangely would prefer Scotland to beat England in a game of football. To be honest I would more than consider playing for England just there is more of an emotional tug through playing for Scotland as it's something i've had more of a bond with. I was a little too young to watch the best English players playing for Rangers and England so had I been old enough then it would probably be the other way around.

Got a Scottish Grandmother or something. I'm only a quarter Scottish (Scottish Grandmother) but the only team i'd be interested in playing for is Scotland. Don't really get this playing a few for one then departing for another. Guess you could argue why weren't we picking Phillips for the youth teams at an earlier stage so that he wasn't already playing for England.
