I still try and get out (playing the day) but refuse to play on any course with temporary greens. Or my course Ardeer make us play off mats, not just on the tee but for the whole hole.

Looked to me like he's barely played tbf. First thing he done was tee up driver height then hit a fairway wood or a hybrid canny mind, and nearly miss it.

Played Skelmorlie for the first time this morning nice wee course. Quite short and had alot of par 3s though some of them are tricky and the last is an uphill 223y par 3 off the yellows. Course was in good nick and well dry enough after all the rain lately as all the courses up in the hills usually are. Think it was £23 including booking fee(which is a lot of shite) but well kept course. The signs at the tees are good give you hole layouts and distances to hazards etc which is handy. Only issue was, without a GPS app there was a few tees I wasn't sure about the location of.

Was hoping for a round the day but weathers fucked it. Fucking nearly back to winter rules already. On the plus side makes some courses easier to get on like Largs which is near me £25 and easy to get a tee time but £50 in the summer and hard to get on.
