  1. I had a bit of a go at Super last week for having 6 or 7 starters playing out of their natural position. Got to say I'm much happier today with the team sheet, ever player (apart from Broadband) is in their natural position and I'm much more confident of spanking this mob today. Well done Ally. Also congrats to Boca, nice touch honouring him before the game.
  2. He'd probably chib himself and be out of 6 weeks.
  3. I'm not selling him. And there are a number who either: a. Are on the wind up; or b. Genuinely think Wylde is better.
  4. Weiss is a far better player than Wylde. Better vision, far more composure, can actually use skill to beat a man and scores goals. He can play fairly effectively on the left or the right. All Wylde has is raw pace, unbelievable one footed and sided and has seemingly a bad attitude (based on having his agent tout him round England and his sending off last week). Although when we are sniffing around Sone Aluko, I'd doubt very much that we could afford Vlad. PS thanks to ScottEastEnclosure for my sexy new sig!

    Making a sig?

Thanks bud. That's tremendous! Have a rep!

    Making a sig?

Afternoon gents, Any chance anyone could offer a hand at making me a sig? Have a roug idea of what it would look like, but of course artistic license is encouraged! USA flag at one side, with the Scotland flag at the other, Bocanegra in the centre (picture link below), with 'graeme_4' and 'Captain America' somewhere. Ta mucho!
  7. Come on to fuck, are you really offended by this? It's embarrassing the way some of our fans are acting these days, some of our own are acting more like Celtic fans - with paranoia and 'offended by everything' attitudes. All the guy has done has said name Pitodree the Ian Durrant stadium, it's an attempt to be funny. It's not in the slightest, but if you are genuinely upset by this away and have a lie down in a dark room. It's an 'indirect' comment, he's not said 'haha Durrant your career was ruined by Neil Simpson, get it up ye'. Embarrassing behaviour with this supposed moral high ground bullshit.
  8. I'm fairly impressed, but certainly not overwhelmed. New contracts for Healy and Kerkar shouldn't have happened. Might be more a Craig Whyte issue than Ally. Both European exits were embarrassing. Should never have happened, although I hold Steven Whittaker to blame for this primarily. Ally didn't pick the right teams or formations, but they players also let themselves down big time. The exit to a very young Falkirk team was also very disappointing considering the side we had out, can't fault Ally here, again need to look at the players. Signings have been pretty hit or miss too: Bocanegra, Goian and McKay all look like good buys. Wallace has looked decent. Ortiz hasn't really impressed although I will give him time. Not seen enough of Bedoya to judge yet. Bartley is decent, but shouldn't start in midfield. At times it looks like certain players are shoehorned in as 'favourites' regardless of fitness and recent performances i.e. Papac and Wallace in the same team (it's one or the other in my opinion), Jig whenever he is fit and Bartley (at the weekend). League results have been brilliant. Quality of football has been good at times, but also dire at others. Stick to attacking and pressing teams with players in their natural position and I'll be a happy man.
  9. Stole my post ya bass! http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=203322 Completely agree though. I don't understand why so many players are out of position. Makes zero sense to me. Similarly with everyone that comes onto these threads and says "aye but we won" and "your are just a moan" and "if its not broken don't fix it". What's the point in a forum if not to discuss the team, players, tactics and performances? I'd rather that than 100 threads about the tax shite. I pay for my season ticket every year, and if I have a point to make about what I see then I will make it.
  10. Sometimes he does. Largely he's benched. Not to mention that he is 10 times the player Greg Wylde will ever be.
  11. That's the point though, eventually with half the starting 11 out of position we will drop points. Not to mention its absolutely dire to watch.
  12. Haha - good work Jela. Thourghly deserved.
  13. It was a terrific moment. Best half time I've ever had!
  14. Fuck! Switch Wylde with Bedoya! How embarrassing! Midfield was back to front. Fixed it.
  15. I know completely agree. Our league position is amazing and results have largely been great. However, our football hasn't. I don't think it's coincidence that our football appears to be at its poorest when players are out of position, or that our back 4 has been terrific this year and they are all consistently in their natural positions.
  16. Agreed, Whittaker for example IS a versatile player that can play well in multiple positions. Wylde, Bartley, Papac, Lafferty, Edu are all players who went played out of position are NOT effective. They are NOT versatile. They are all really poor out of their natural position.
  17. I'd have gone with McGregor Whittaker - Goian - Boca - Papac Bedoya - Edu - Davis - McKay - Wylde Jelavic Instead we shoehorned in a half fit Bartley and played pretty much everyone bar Jelavic out of position. When we went for it against Celtic with players in their natural position we played our best football this year.
  18. I know, and I'm delighted. But because of this should we not constructively criticise or think about improvement? Just accept we are 15 points clear and that is it? Never try to get better?
  19. I don't care if he won a penalty or not. He is the most one footed player I've ever seen. He was terrible at right mid. Do you think that because he won a penalty that means he played well?
  20. I understand that, and believe me I am delighted with the position we are in. But, if the rest of our competition wasn't do poor we'd struggled. You can't tell me you were happy with what you saw today? Bartley, Papac, Edu and Wylde were all really poor. It's no coincidence that they were all out of position. They are being asked to do jobs that they shouldn't be. We could easily have put out a team with good players in natural positions.
  21. Let's look at our team today... Wylde (right mid) - actually a left winger Bartley (centre mid) - actually a central defender Papac (centre mid & left mid) - actually a left back Edu (right mid) - actually a centre mid Matt McKay (second striker) - apparently a left mid although don't reall know much about him And this to other selections this and previous seasons... Lafferty (left wing) - actually a striker Ortiz (left mid) - actually a right mid or right back We were absolutely torture today. The 3-1 win will paper over the cracks and it can be argued that 'we won, therefore McCoist played it correctly'. He didn't. The team were terrible today and in my opinion with so many players out of position we are an accident waiting to happen. Thank god our back 4 is consistent and all get to play in their natural positions. It's no co-incidence that our stand out partnership by far is Boca and Goian. Both playing in their natural position and both digging us out of holes created by poor player selection and tactics. Really wish this was sorted out as we do have a good squad, we are just playing people out of position and at times they are really struggling. Wylde at right mid was totally embarassing. 50 thousand people could see after 2 minutes that it wasn't working. Sort it out Rangers.
  22. Exactly. Trips to Tynecastle are great and it's usually a brilliant atmosphere. Take Hearts (the 3rd most supported team) out our league and it is a blow. Anyone who thinks otherwise just isn't thinking. And to those who want Celtic to go out of business because 'they want it to happen to us', act like a proddy please. If they go bust then there are no more old firm games, what is there to look forward to in a SPL season? Aberdeen away and that's it. Bit of common sense please lads. If we start taking established teams out, we lose the competitiveness of our league, which results in lower viewing figures, which results in less tv money, which results in less quality and the downward spiral continues...
  23. He's a fat dick,, but that is funny. Got to laugh. Although I'd be appalled if one of our players was acting the cunt when we were sitting in 3rd.
  24. Exactly. Fucking lowest of the low spitting on anyone. Cunts like you are a fucking embarrassment.
  25. Apart from a few blatant duds, i.e. Ostenstad, Maniero, Bonisell and Jeffers I think big Eck actually did well when you look at the list. I always assosciated him with signing absolute pish mostly! Waterreus for £100K and Boumsong/Marv/Prso/Hemdani/Berg/De Boer/Kyriakos all on a free were great pieces of business. Also add that to the goals Novo and Boyd gave us for under £1 million and I'd say he did really well with such a limited budget.
