  1. That's why I started that paragraph with the word 'did' asking a question mate
  2. Nah your off the mark mate, that's me being kind.
  3. A wee clown? Ffs mate, I think he be better described as a young rookie learning his trade, who made a terrible mistake. Two weeks before this game most fans thought he was amazing, real deal and should keep wallace out if the team. Out of interest do you/have you ever played football? Also out of interest did Windass behave like that when Tav stood and watched the scum player ghost inside him, what about when Wes refused to move 4 yards to challenge for the header. What about when Hyndman lost possession and did anyone scream at him when he constantly jogs back after losing possession. You've got to earn the right to behave like that either over the season or if your having a stormer that game...Windass was neither; he picked on the wee guy and was OTT.
  4. Quite possibly regarding highlighting CG for who he really is, but some have commented that it want that bad etc. and that is wrong and that type of behaviour is got to be unacceptable to us as human beings first and foremost; never mind as fans of a football team
  5. I'm not that great when it comes to the financial constraints of our club and admittedly don't know enough regarding th strangle hold Ashley has over our club. Do we not need to get smrid of him initially to become a more attractive investment for new owners? Kingco don't have the money to front this operation (my opinion). What would it take to get rid of Ashley and would any money be required to get shot of Kingco. Imo I can only see this is the way forward, starving the club of season ticket money is tempting to highlight the message we want Kingco out, but is this not risky and counter productive in many levels, day to day running of the club and this won't get rid of Ashley?
  6. CG is entitled to his view the same as you and I, regardless of his past...That doesn't exempt him from opinions on this matter. He may wish to be sensitive and selective about where he contributed and what he actually says. But calling the guy out is fine by me and quite rightly so, there should be no place for this behaviour if it's at football, work place in the pub. Scumbag deserves all that's coming to him...The minute we make excuses for his behaviour "he was angry, scratching his arm pits, it was directed at Broon" we are just as bad.
  7. It's a combination of fighting in bursts and and also inexperience from Joshua, when he got caught heavily in the 6th he had also 'went for it' and emptied his tank. He managed to hold on and a more ruthless fighter would've stopped him I think. In saying that it was a brilliant fight for a fan and I'm sure Joshua will learn from that fight and his the potential to be remembered as one of the greats.
  8. Just as embarrassing as the players, running onto the park is stupid
  9. Anyone else heard the rumour that Souness wants the job? My Bro in law told me today, I'd rather he was in charge than Pedro
  10. Was just about to post if anyone has any early news on the 11 for today. glad to see big Clint back in the team, no harm to the lad Bates, but we need our strongest 11 today...I hope we can do them today - going a full season and not landing a blow on them would be the worst.
  11. Just not excited one bit, at the moment it feels meaningless - come 12noon though I'll feel different. ..But last week was the important one for us. I just hope we manage to land a few blows, give a good account of ourselves and stand up to the challenge. Will be interesting to see the line up... Wes. Tav. Hill. Wilson. Beerman. Holt. Toral. Windass. Hyndman. Dodoo. Miller. That would be mine, Holt and Toral told not to go ahead of the ball - ever.
  12. What was the situation that happened in training regarding injuries...Just watched the press conference where Pedro makes reference to that?
  13. I get what your saying and agree, but I don't think we can afford to do that as we can't be too wasteful of the money we have.
  14. Definately a season to try and forget, been a nightmare start to finish with very little to get excited about.
  15. Manage the rest of the season with the current group of players, being mindful that you may be landed with them for another season as they may not attract any interest from other clubs. Pedro talks like he is a task master and I'm sure the board were on record stating they wanted a strong character to lead, make important decisions etc. So potentially he is supported to kick ass. Lots of people say that football management is more about man management and kicking ass doesn't always get results. How would you go about motivating and managing this bunch of players, talking this season, next season and recruitment in mind.
  16. Wes. Tav. SumalI. Wilson. Beerman. Jack. Rossiter. Walker. Dorrans. New. Cummings. Subs: Alnwick Hodson Windass Dodoo Holt Miller
