Benny, I'm willing to listen to, and take on board, views and opinions from the likes of yourself and Ozgers because you both know of, and have seen the guy playing. What I'm saying though is, there are people on here clamouring for his inclusion tomorrow and they know next to nothing about the guy. Basically, they want him included because they don't like Wylde/McCulloch/Edu, etc. not because they know that McKay is a good player. Christ, I hope he plays, scores a hat trick and then has three assists in a Lee McCulloch hat trick. I just don't know enough about him to say he should/shouldn't be playing tomorrow. And you've never heard of me? AL JOLSON?

I'm a wee bit bemused by the clamour to play Matt McKay on Sunday. I'd never heard of the guy before we showed an interest which, I think, could be the case for a lot of people who are shouting for his inclusion. I hope he turns out to be a fantastic signing, as I do for every player we sign, but how many of us actually know anything about him except for his subs role at Tannadice? And YouTube probably.

I was never more confident going into a game than I was on 2nd January 2011. For this Sunday I'm probably 75% confident.

I genuinely think it's a well intentioned idea mate, but I think that it's not a goer for a number of reasons. My main reason is that the previous incumbent grossly mismanaged our finances and the present incumbent has got quite some distance to go before proving himself to be any different.

At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter whether McCulloch plays or not. All that matters is that we win the game. However, it's strange that so many posters see fit to put forward such a strong argument against his inclusion. Some of the comments seem spiteful and almost verge on hatred. It's clear that, if he does play, there are people on here who, no matter how well the guy plays, wouldn't be able to find it within themselves to say so. There are players that I have preference for over others but I would never go on to a Rangers forum, and certainly never public on platforms such as Radio Clyde or the Daily Record phone ins, and spout such bile against one of our own.
