derek1872 got a reaction from Rowley Birkin in The Irish Lottery
isnt the UK lottery £10 for 3 numbers? you get 6 numbers though. Also you have 59 numbers in the NY lotto so doing the math tells you its a lot harder to get 3 numbers

Agreed.
In the current market and with a lengthy contract (3-5 year deal) under his belt, Ronaldo is probably worth £100 million. However it's getting close to that stage where the ball starts to move in to his court when it comes to contract negotiations and when a player won't sign a new deal what the club is willing to accept starts to plummet. It happens every season and just because he's a class above just about every other player on the planet that doesn't mean it isn't relevant to Ronaldo's contract situation too.
A PSG or a Man City could easily come in for him and sign him for his true market value this Summer, but if the player only wants the move back to Man Utd then he might dig his heels in and Real might be forced to deal with Man Utd's offer even if it's below what they want or what he is worth.

You have been told on numerous occasions that your gender has nowt to do with it. A male who was as much of a clueless cunt as you would get the same amount of abuse directed their way.

Ferguson said: "People say we are not as good as the teams of the past but sometimes people have foggy impressions, I do myself at times.
"This team doesn't know when it is beaten. It has good individual players."
Wayne Rooney was depicted as a "hooligan" in the Spanish press on Tuesday, with sports daily Marca also describing the England striker as "a freckled demon" who is "built like a barrel packed with gunpowder" and on his way to "blow up the Bernabeu".
Asked about the unflattering reports in the Spanish press, Ferguson added: "Rooney can't read Spanish so we will be all right"

they certainly aren't.
Casilles is injured, and hugely overrated anyway, so tonight Man U are stronger in the GK department.
Rio & Vidic is an established partnership with experience of multiple league wins, a wealth of CL experience including a CL trophy. Carvalho is finished, Pepe is tough but a wildcard. Ramos is overrated and naturally a right back, has been woeful defending set pieces this season. Marcelo is about on a par with Rafeal, perhaps better going forward, but netiehr are outstanding going back. Arbeloa was a Liverpool flop and nothing on Evra.
I was Carricks biggest critic for eyars but over the last year he's really came on to a game, ive been hugely impressed with him. Not in the class of Alonso, but each will influence the game. Di Maria & Ashely Young are probably about on a par, Di Maria is more talented, but blows hot n cold, not to mention spends half the game rolling around the deck giving his best Busquests impression. At least Ashley Young waits until hes in the box
Ronaldo is a class apart from anyone on the pitch, but RVP & Rooney are better players than the likes of Benzema, Higuain & Ozil.
All in all, i think it's pretty evenly matched, i think Real do have slightly more talent, but their not as robust, nor have had anything near the consistency and form of United this season.

I can do what I like thank you very much. I'm exercising freedom of choice. My Dad and brother were United fans when I was born (far too long ago) and that was that. I married into a Rangers family and moved to Glasgow where it was obvious there was only one team to follow. I know a few who are supporters of both clubs. I think you'll find that SAF still has a soft spot for Rangers (despite his treatment by some) and I would be willing to bet there are a few in amongst the Northern Irish contingent.
I actually support a 3rd club but I doubt there will be such a problem as they play in blue and white and number Jock Wallace amongst their former players. They even have Stevie Kinniburgh turning out for them now!
I hope that satisfies your curiosity TG?

Its Man UNITED!! And I will happily enter the Bears Den as a season ticket holder at Ibrox and a lifelong United fan. Maybe you hadn't noticed this is a general football thread and the Bears Den is where the talk is all about Rangers (well mostly ).
You do seem a very angry young man, maybe the thread title should have prevented you from opening it? Its really quite easy to understand and no one has compelled you to enter. There are hundreds of threads that I don't read for the very reason that I have no interest in them! On a purely anatomical note I'm sure that you see words on a forum rather than listen to them, or do you have voices in your head?

I can understand why the bigger clubs like man u, barca or real Madrid wouldn't touch him but surely one of the smaller clubs like Chelsea or man city should take a punt on him?
