  1. Ok looked it up fucked iT - Jesus I must be fried this Monday morning!
  2. Just hoping Man U don’t have a buy back clause, he’d be doing better than their current first choice… he’s been immense, technically good but also shows that leadership at the back we need. Not sure it’s easy to find that tbh
  3. Not sure why this thread has descended into paranoia - regardless of your views on ‘pyro’ it’s pretty clear that a whole stand looking like that was going to draw comment given the fact it’s illegal. Hard to criticise it though, and players seemed to have appreciated it (eg raskin post).
  4. Watched the Liverpool Toulouse game after - Toulouse spend £34m a year (I think we’re up around £60-£70m?) - some players played out of their skins despite the result, they looked to have much more quality about them than most of our first team squad, more commitment and desire to chase lost causes rsther than just pass the ball side to side.
  5. Don’t be too harsh on yourself. Aye could handle that sort of super-furlough.
  6. Mixed feelings - at 40mins I’d have bitten your hand off for a draw, thought we should’ve won it in the last 15 mins but overall a point was daylight robbery. Dessers just doesn’t have it, Lammers is awful. Sima did ok with absolutely nothing to work with and Danilo looked lively when he came on. Could see second half the change, gives me some hope in PC to sort it. But with this squad, it won’t be a quick fix…
  7. I can’t remember the last game where I thought we should’ve scored double what we did. We had so many chances (need to get more clinical) but great start for big PC. I actually enjoyed watching it. It’s felt a long time since I could say that.
  8. Even with VPN only offering non live video subscription for some reason
  9. Aye can’t seem to get it on Rangers tv
  10. Think he’d have got pass marks if he just went full double denim tbh
  11. Regretfully watched that shite tonight after work, wished I’d stayed on. Fans there an absolute credit to the club, unbelievable the players out there couldn’t pull it together with the support they had. have also defended Tav - unquestionably great player for us in the past - but he’s done and shows no leadership. feel like we’re back to pre-Gerrard with how poor the mentality or the squad is
  12. Thinking might be time to see if Kevin Kyle would sign up till end of season to give us a bit more flair in attack
  13. Not enough is made of how anti-fascist our support are, maybe because most of the hardcore anti-fascist folk are v left wing/anarchists and probably not big fans of the union flag. the guy should be banned for life - I’m all for freedom of speech generally but you can’t be wearing nazi logos to the football, particularly on armed forces day. Mental.
  14. Happens all the time in all workplaces. Everywhere. But maybe that view is a symptom of wider lack of leadership and poor man management from Beale. He doesn’t scream influential leader to me, or someone you’d find very inspiring to work with.
  15. Said it before but just so many unforced errors by executive team at the club (noting some have gone/changes): - giving a novice manager a long contract, basically underselling our position vs. His career stage (not suggesting we’ve got the pull of Madrid but ffs we’re an attractive job for a manager with less than 25 pro games); - giving a novice manager the job… - imposing a DoF on a fairly experienced manager like Gio but then letting a novice have free reign over transfer business; Finally, because of this, it’ll be hard to recruit to the vacancy and viewed as a job likely to end in failure in 9-10 months time despite having no resources and a poor squad. Basically made the club a basket case as far as managerial recruitment. regardless Beale needs to go. I even think any new candidate with a bit of experience and some energy/leadership would be cut slack by us, if they could show what they’re trying to implement and bring some energy to the squad. It’s a low bar to start from.
  16. All this nostalgia makes me miss those great times in 2013, that the boardroom was the most active part of the forum, warring about takeover factions and that guy that went tonto then claimed his phone had been stolen and someone else was posting then disappeared (Giffnock Bear?). Happier times like a Christmas poem video from Charles Green. D’Artagnan is a miss on here used to post great stuff. Which sort of puts the current Beale situation in a bit of perspective..
  17. Fuck me he looks about 20 years older in that interview since he started.
  18. Think we should probably closed down the forum until next season at this point.

Agree - a game costs less than (probably half of ) a family of four cinema trip and meal out - given how many hours they tend to give, and ability to sell on and recoup some of the spend, they’re pretty good value on the whole I think!

Pretty sure when I bought goldeneye on the n64 in the 90s it was £50. Would say £60 is not all that bad.
  21. Not sure - if the board has assumed sell outs for European home games in their projections for the year (of which we’re guaranteed 3) and we end up 1000-3000 tickets unsold that’d leave something like 50-100k per game so 150k-300k total shorter than forecast. Certainly not ‘press the red button’ reduction in income but still not ideal. Would expect costs (staffing/stewarding/policing) are unchanged by small reduction in numbers. I think it’ll be clear if European game attendance reduces, non-ST league game attendance reduces etc there’s an impact and that’ll likely put Beale in a more precarious position.
  22. Not sure the car garages mandate the need for the use of league titles as currency mate so sure Tav is ok.
