  1. Careful now...talking objectively on here will get you labelled a mhank by some of the wee boys who really should be in bed by now.
  2. And so it comes...The minute someone on here challenges a pretty stupid statement im immediately a lurker?? Yeh well if thats what you think...jog on... I was there on sunday, i sang most songs but i know i wont be gettin a 7am knock from mr plod...do you??
  3. Tin hat on. For as long as we sing songs that include 'fen@@n' references we are seen as just as bad as the groin brigade. So when we live in a glasshouse lets not throw stones
  4. I am defo not a craig houston fan but heard him on radio scotland yesterday with some rep of the mhanks. He was actually very good. Took no shit and gave the mhank it tight
  5. Lets not be fooled by this. He is only saying this now to boost their case for withholding money they due us for the old company debt
  6. Right now our club is crying out for leadership - on and off the pitch. The situation with Ally will only be resolved when someone steps up and acts like a leader. So far we have heard nothing from the Board and that is shocking. Someone needs to grow a set, get a grip of this situation and make a decision. On the pitch it's glaringly obvious too. Would Greig, Butcher, Gough or Weir be hiding right now? Damn sure they wouldn't. They'd be running around kicking arses. Instead we have a lame duck who couldn't defend if his life depended on it. Captain at Rangers means something...you need to earn it. We need someone to lead us through this...and no I don't mean a Murray. Get Souness onto the board and get some passion back.
  7. I know Smith often gets pelters on here but that was some delivery for the goal
  8. Yep often thought that... It's obvious from our passing, free kicks and corners that players don't see a ball all week. Still...as long as they are having a laugh
  9. I'm not laying all the blame at jigs door. He is captain and has to take responsibility...the fact that he isn't is out of order.
  10. Woeful team selection and woeful performance to match but... When the team is out on the pitch it's the skippers job to lead and motivate the team. In my lifetime I've been lucky to see Greig Butcher Gough and even Barry They led our team with pride and real passion. Jig is a sorry excuse for a Rangers captain and much share the responsibility for our current on field shambles. I have yet to see him motivate anyone around him - maybe he is too embarrassed cos he knows he shouldn't be there. If anyone needs to get a hold of Moshni by the short and curlies it's the captain. Jig... Man up and tell Ally you need time on the bench Sure as hell McCoist won't do it
  11. Now that voting has opened and in response to the demand for a sales pitch... Background Mostly in public sector with wide experience in partnership working and commitment to getting things done. Experience of working with committees and executive groups. Lifelong fan whose earliest memory is big Tams winner in the 1973 cup final against Ce@@@c. Season ticket holder and there for every home game with my stepson (he is 10 and our clubs future). Standing for election as Families rep as we need to ensure that the clubs future has a voice AND that there is a club for them to support. Am not a share holder and no conflict of interest here. On the field Let's be honest...the quality isn't great, too many overpaid and under performing players and a management team that are naive at best. The Fans Board may have little influence on what happens on the pitch however it can give a voice to the ordinary fan. Off the field We are a mess. Lurching from one disaster to the next. Tbh no clear vision of where we are going has been communicated. The Board? I'm not convinced about the benefit they bring - strangely quiet just now until the exclusive in the Record. I know they are bound by stock market rules about what they can and cannot say but we need reassurance about the future of our club. Bottom line is though, for the time being, they are the only board we have and we should be supporting them not starving them of badly needed funds. If we want change then let's do it from within. UoF/ SoS - they are dividing our support at a time we need to be united. Those who wanted us dead have not gone away - we need to unite and face those who mean us harm. King/ Ashley - tbh neither. Lots of smoke and mirrors and look where that got us with Whyte. If either was serious they need to put up or shut up. Fan ownership - a long term project maybe worth exploring further. Ibrox - can't believe someone sold the rights for £1 BUT... It will always be Ibrox. I don't come with all the answers to the issues we face... I come with a willingness to work together with everyone interested in making our club what it was and should be. I want to see the club being promoted in a positive way as a family centred, inclusive club who value and hold dear our traditions. We need people who are in this for our club - not themselves, and that's what I can bring. Vote Tom F for families
  12. Bloody mobile... keys that small i can hardly see them!!
  13. I believe lists will be sent out in advance of voting. All those selected will have their applications posted so you can see who you are voting for.I am happy to give more info to anyone by PM. I want what is best for our club and if that means someone else is elected then thats fine by me.Just want what is best for the club i love and i will support whoever wins 100%.
  14. well if you are a season ticket holder or a member then hopefully you will use ur vote positively for the benefit of our club
  15. Got a call today to say I have been selected as one of the three who will stand for election as Families Rep on the Fans Board. This is an unashamed post to plead for you vote when the voting goes live on 6th Sept. I have no affiliation to any fans group and come to this without any personal desire - just want to see us get back where we belong and safeguard our club for our kids. I hope you will vote and hopefully it will be for Tom Forrester as families rep. Thanks
  16. Just seen the mhanks new home kit... A box of tissues, 24 Prozac and the phone number for Samaritans...
  17. Mass breakout from a travelling circus in East End of Glasgow... So far police have found an elephant in Duke St, 2 lions in Dalmarnock and 11 clowns in Parkhead
  18. Jeez us you lot are rubbish. Am aff tae the sun
  19. Anyone know if there is a bluenose bar in salou? Heard salou Ibrox is shut?
  20. I too sat thru some brutal games in the Greig era. Today I feel ashamed. That was simply awful and if McCoist can't walk away we should drive him away. Dreadful mis management by the whole management team
  21. Tin hat on. I know Richard Foster isn't rated by a lot on here but I have to say I think he has been excellent in the last few games - a million times better than Faure at RB. I genuinely believe he can have a very good future with us. But... Only my opinion
