If the SFL vote is for the 3rd there will still be teams voting no. We will be extremely lucky to have a league if it goes to a vote but tbh I think the chance of Green getting SFA membership for us are 50/50 right now so we could be fucked anyway.

If I was Green and looking at 3 seasons in the wilderness with a stadium to mothball I would consider selling Ibrox to a pension fund who will always sell back at a profit and won't be trying any stunts. Selling to OTPP would be a safe way to raise funds. A £3m per season rent, possibly starting 1 or 2 seasons in and then offering them £9m back at a later stage and because they are set up for returns they will accept it, 50% or more profit over 4-5 years. Does this make him the new Craig Whyte or is he just looking for options as he is starved of cashflow? I dunno, wish I did.

We are going to need a 75% vote to get into the SFL, that is 22 of 29 clubs with two already saying no. Any surprise that Eric 'Transfer Ban' Drysdale's club Raith are first to say no? A man who has already tried to punish Rangers using a punishment outwith his remit now trying to influence other SFL clubs. It just keeps getting more ridiculous by the day. I genuinely think there are clubs stupid enough to vote no and try to leave us without a league. I genuinely think football in this country is small-minded enough to try to kill it's most successful club. I can see us being forced out of football for a season at least by which time the club will be crippled beyond repair. What is happening now would be shocking to an outsider who could actually follow it. They are baying for blood and no longer even know what they are punishing, Rangers are down and everyone wants a kick. They have known a Rangers which could defend itself but this is an entirely different club now, there is no-one to defend us because we only have a manager and people at the helm who are inexperienced in their roles and lack knowledge of Scottish football. They have the nerve to come on this forum and blame us for being defensive and aggressive when we have endured over 4 months of taunting and incomprehensible decision making from the authorities. Anyone with any foresight could see that the club was likely to lose it's players yet the SFA made a decision to ban us from registering other players when they did not even have that punishment open to them but had several others available. We have clubs known to have used EBTs in England, that information is public and no-one there is calling them cheats, that says more about the mentality of our fellow SPL clubs than it does about the English. If this was a criminal case it would be halted because it has been completely prejudiced. As everything about our club is being conducted in the public domain then shouldn't the SFA be making the responses from Hearts and the scum to their recent letter public. The letter which asked each club about non-contractual payments to players. They seem to have no problem sharing every last detail about our situation.
