I know FIFA won't get involved but wouldn't it be good to hit them with a few hundred emails on the subject of the SFA and SPL's intransparent processes, inconsistent treatment of clubs and apparent inability to make fair judgements. Punishing a club for past success is surely not acceptable to FIFA. This is FIFA's message on their homepage today................. Check what processes FIFA has put in place to ensure good governance, transparency and zero tolerance towards wrongdoing, through its new task forces and the roadmap towards 2013. Rangers have done wrong but we deserve to be treated in a manner in which other clubs would be treated. The SFA are not demonstrating good governance nor transparency.

About £75-100k in ticket sales if the Dunfermline situation is a fair indicator and you can probably add £30-50k in in matchday spending. For a Dunfermline it would probably mean £110k of lost turnover per match. The 75% of fees held back would equate to £1.8m so they would presumably share this @ £160k each. It will hit them in the pocket but not as much as we'd like.

I would expect the money is going into a stand-alone account held by the named people and could be released after the CVA has been agreed. HMRC can't get to it unless it is in the club's account.

True but I still think 20k minimum would sign up to it. I can't get to games much and would like a direct way to put cash into the club. If you buy merchandise or anything else then money is siphoned off before the club gets cash to spend.

Doubt the BBC will be quick to cover it given that it's positive news. Don't know why this hasn't been done before the money worries. A £10 donation per month from 20,000 fans could put two good players on the park and pay them.
