Aye possibly, he came with a decent price tag and expectations, failed to deliver on any of them.

Or the game is slower, doesn't have players in your face, clipping your heels, fouling you and it suits him to have time on the ball? Not saying hes better than he was but some players are suited to different leagues and tempo

Not really, a centrist is by definition someone between two sides and therefore does not hold extreme views. IF they do, they'd be an extremist and not a centrist.
-
Because you don't get extremist centrists.

That's an old can of beans for an old joke.

No harm to the lad but his move to us has been very poor. Go rip it up and get us a fee =)

Honestly, this incident is SO bizarre, given the truth of the matter, that I honestly begin to think there is something really smelly at the middle of this. celtic have something on the Refs and SFA and its held over them. It needs brought out into the light and dealt with.

What bothers me more than the 'non penalty call' is the reaction to our questioning of it. If they had just said, Willie made a call, it was wrong but thankfully it was offside so no damage done, I'd be ok with the apology. The circling of wagons, the incessant press releases from SFA, Refs, celtic media pundits and the narrative around risking his livelihood is astounding. The hypocrisy from EVERYONE is astounding. For YEARS the filth have been publicly questioning the integrity of referees, they have previous for coining a ref, panning windows in, hounding them in the press, causing a strike! Recently they have been supporting conspiracy videos in the stadium, have their own TV pundit involved, AGM, 'penalty to Rangers' narrative and NOTHING has been said or done by the SFA or Refs. But we question a blatant mistake on a penalty call, question the doubling down of the ref on 'not a clear and obvious error' and we're subject to all of this? Nevermind celtic are the only club, not once, but twice to receive public apologies from Refs in the press! Personal phone calls to their manager to apologise! What the actual fuck is society today, does the truth even fucking matter?
-
From BBC The SFA described the incident as a subjective handball and not a clear and obvious error that required review, pointing out that if there had been a review the offside would have been identified. The SSFRA welcomed "the clarification provided by the Scottish FA in relation to the recent celtic v. Rangers match and, in particular, the confirmation that the supplementary offside pictures were provided by the Scottish FA to assist the media broadcasters and not at the instigation of the VAR or as part of the VAR decision making process at the time of the incident". So the defender punching the ball out of play when Sima was attempting to control it is not a clear and obvious error? Come on to fuck, we need to challenge this incompetence and circling of wagons. With regards to the second point, wtf? The Refs are saying it was the SFA that released the pictures to Sky, not the VAR officials? Who the fuck was it in the SFA during the match that has that ability? Fucking stinking.

He's right though.

I think they are a bit to the left of socialism.

The team on top gets the publicity and the backing, that is just the way it, media won't align with second best, so until we start beating them consistently on the pitch we're not going to be getting much positive airtime. So the club need to box clever on any news, in any war, you don't over stretch your gains which is what I feel we've done here.
-
Fully agree and this is the point we need to push. It's the blatant different behaviour that is the issue here. There is no way this plays out the way it has if it was Tav punching that ball out from Kyogo. It would have been a penalty and offside, although at this point I'm not sure we'd have been given the offside as noone was calling for it at the time.

Agree - a sausage in close isn't tight at all....perhaps its just the Larkie vernacular
-
Sausage up a close level of tight. People are focusing on the outcome (penalty not valid) but as we all know, its the process and inflence behind decisions that this is all about. This can be proof of that.
-
They will bury this under 'honest' mistake by the VAR official. Sickening.

Players moving position long term
theiconicman replied to East Enclosure Row N's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Also the money means protection of position is more important that gambling. So teams take a conservative appoach in that a well drilled, decent team that is hard to beat is likely to survive in top leagues. It's not about winning points, its about gaining 1 point from a draw. It would be great to remove the 1 point from a draw and see what happens to football then. -
Calling him out just gives him the oxygen of publicity, do yourself a favour and block him. You'll feel better for it. The only ones who listen to Sutton are the filth.
