We have been shown the way and should be lining up in a 4-3-3 and playing passing/possession football and I'm expecting 3 or 4 goals and a win for us!

To put Ally into any position right now would be the worst start possible and even the king-a-lings couldnt support him as either Manager, DoF, or a scouting type position because whilst he is a true legend as a player, he has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that he doesnt possess any other footballing knowledge beyond doing the Picture Board on a Question of Sport!

Just needs a tactically aware manager in as an interim for the rest of this season and use the summer to source the right manager and let him have the rest of the summer to bolster the squad with something like a £6M transfer pot which with some decent youth and a few high profile loans will see us sustain a decent challenge next year. All this needs to be underpinned for future seasons with Murray Park coming up to scratch and the padlock taken of the gym doors and we shouldnt be investing any cash in players at the end of their careers - bring them in on loan if required and bring the right experience but save the money for 22 to 27 year olds that if coached successfully can give us a return on our investment.

If this was a movie you would could almost expect the revelation now that the team has been deliberately send out to look poor and fail on a regular basis with the story-line coming to fruition as the management team and the old boys club who are always getting a start having a meeting in a darkened room as its finally revealed that they all are in the pay of the same man who we have previously only seen from the rear in his blazer with a mullet just touching the collar! You really have no idea about the terms that can be set in commercial contracts for loan players. I will give you an example because only a few weeks ago a friend of mine who is a significant shareholder at Millwall agreed along with two other shareholders to cover some of the costs for a loan player that has just come in from Leeds. Its quite common for costs to be covered in this way and as we share an office I had a chance to go over the commercial terms of the loan as I work in finance and I was stunned by the amount of variables that could see the monthly costs increase with a higher burden on his side as initially Leeds have agreed to cover 50% but dependent on a significant amount of triggers this could change within 7 days! Not getting match time was a trigger to change the percentages as was any change of ownership of Leeds as a Club and in total about 17 criteria were agreed (normal stuff such as minutes played, goals scored, etc) just so much small print that i hadnt expected! Its not an external change whereby Leeds can comeback and say we just want more but the costs can change dependent on the commercial terms already agreed and set in stone- do you understand this? The fact he hasnt had a start yet means the cost will increase if he isnt played within six weeks of his start date for example!

There is something wrong though about our fitness, tactics, formation and the players awareness of each other and positioning and thats a training issue! Some of these guys have shown that they can play football but as soon as they hit Murray Park we seem to be turning them around from decent or semi-decent prospects and there is no way we can bring so many skilled players in and have this shite on the pitch every weekend!! Its just wrong and not possible!

I think he has done well and others who should be playing off him have really let him down or never appear to be in position! We are still playing in such a shape that we arent being set up to attack a team and keep possession and this works best for Vuckic who can actually go past his man and keep the ball! Some of the team are still needing to up the fitness work as well! Cant comment on him tonight because I had limited radio commentary but too many want him to fail just because he is one of the MA loans.

Have you seen the terms? Its not difficult to understand that the terms themselves may already be written in such a way so that the costs increase over time or subject to any external change! The terms dont need to change but that doesnt alter the fact that the costs could increase and any simpleton would understand that! The only way to be 100% certain would be to have seen the terms which no one - especially yourself - would have done!!

We are almost at Irish levels but a lot of change has happened in a lot of the Scandinavian Leagues and they are miles ahead of us at the moment and that where we should be looking for ideas! The Atlantic League idea is dead in the water and will never happen due to the stranglehold that the CL now has on European Football, as well as the TV money and also the occasional billionaire now nibbling at the odd team in each country giving everyone a taste for what they could have but cant afford! Scottish Football needs a complete change and has to remind itself that its supposed to be a form of entertainment and needs to somehow win a new audience! I know I will be shot down for some of these but we should be looking at summer football, lowering prices, capping salaries to bring up competition, selling alcohol in stadiums (accept it will be banned on old firm days), make some days more of an event like 20/20 cricket, better kick off times, revisit how matches can be televised and sold direct through different forms of media and so much more I can think of but its needs to be more than tinkering! Needs to be almost relaunched as a different product!

No one has any idea about what possible clauses or terms may be in the contract and post EGM we could easily be in the position of having to pay the full salary of 5 EPL squad players and two of them are on a fair whack - way above anything we can afford at the moment! If MA wanted to be a complete bastard then i'm sure he will be able to recall them and just wont register them again until the summer and if we end up paying the wages of all five (just assuming we arent covering the full cost presently) then can we ship the three injured ones back and keep the two fit ones! All if's and but's again because none of us have a clue about the contract or the commercial liabilities that could still be open to change! Only thing I'm certain of is that Vuckic has made more of a difference than anyone else this season and without these loans I think we will struggle to beat Hibs in a play-off although I do think we could pump either Motherwell or St Midden because they are even more shite than us!!

Its no more than expected as a statement and just an insurance policy by the Club. Not read through all the thread but has anyone questioned why we are being charged/cited by whoever for the raith game but no charges are to be levied for the cup-semi because both sides were chanting banned songs, etc. I have no issue being charged if its proven and the evidence is there but surely the same charge applies to both sides for the semi then but that would mean also charging the unwashed across the city and it seems that just cant be done!
