So instead of holding your hand up and admitting you were simply making it up you are going to insist that Sky losing rights to the EPL would mean 90%+ of their total subscribers leaving while losing the SPL rights would result in less than 1% doing the same? If you do this for a living I hope your CV is up to date

I don't know what they are either but I'm not randomly pulling them from my arse

The prize for brazenly plucking numbers out yer arse goes to....

I've seen some fucking harebrained ideas on here but that takes the biscuit

I would imagine it means the SPL has paid the SFL for the rights to televise our games so they can then sell on a package of TV rights that includes the SPL and our SFL games to Sky or ESPN or whomever else is interested in buying them. It means we will get a 10% share of whatever the SPL paid the SFL for the rights.

I didn't mean to imply that we shouldn't be vigilant, I just meant that the people questioning his motives or his ability should finally give it a rest

If the license has been granted unconditionally I hope that answers Green's critics once and for all

So what you are saying is we'll either get the license by Friday or we won't? That's what I call nailing your colours to the mast

Scum banner shows Rangers fans being shot

Because it goes some way to normalising a concept that should be abhorrent. I think the manics summed it up perfectly; if you tolerate this your children will be next -

Showing banners of any representation of Rangers being shot, especially with that lot's background, is a dangerous precedent to set -

How in the name of god did the police allow that to be flown? -

I really don't get the reputation system on here. Is it meant to be used to indicate agreement or disagreement, or are we using to punish trolling, or what? If it's being used to indicate disagreement then surely it will just stifle debate? -
Honours withdrawal would be legitimatized cheating.

You can stick your 'hmmmm' where the sun don't shine. One of the problems we've had as a support is that this type of misinformation gets spread around and enough people believe it that our defence ends up being misguided and ill-informed. If instead we picked our battles based on an accurate picture of the potential misdemeanor we would stand a much better of mitigating the damage. -

How can we all be sitting here almost six months after we went into administration and almost a year since the Big Tax case came to light and people still don't understand the issue around making payments to players that we didn't declare in the contract we registered with the SFA? It beggars belief. The bit above complaining about how we could possibly have complied with both UK Tax legislation and SFA Registration rules is idiotic at best; the answer is obviously we couldn't comply with both. -
Now that we are in the third division Celtic are the main draw as far as Sky are concerned and it is utterly unsurprising that Lawwell would be involved in negotiations with Sky alongside Doncaster. No conspiracy, just perfectly understandable business.

I've given you a rep to offset the shortsighted twats on here who neg rep something just because they don't agree, instead of engaging in reasonable debate -
This stuff about the SPL holding onto Rangers' registration is pure fantasy. I don't know why people keep posting his pish on here to be honest, although even Traynor has his believers so I suppose anything is possible.

The SPL have the power to transfer the share without our involvement or agreement. They did so when they voted to exclude us and invite Dundee instead.
-
What are you on about? Dundee's share of what? They were a member club of the SFL and since they were promoted a team from each league has moved up one creating a space in the 3rd that we were given.
-
That was my worry. I doubt they hold copyright over the badge but I think they own exclusive rights to producing strips for the next five years.
-
The share was transferred as soon as the SPL voted to invite Dundee

First bit of good news in almost six months

If it's the best deal on the table it would still be the best deal for us, irrespective of whether it is 10% or 3.33% we receive as a share. However, it is the media rights to SFL3 that the SPL want to buy, not the rights to televise SFL2 or SFL1 so why would it be divided by anything other than 10?
