He was excellent today and I have been of the opinion that he needs to tidy up his game in the middle to be considered a genuine starter for us. Today he showed all the signs that he has, all of them, terrific performance.

That's why it's conceivable that performance levels may have dropped, I don't know why people can't take this into consideration before criticising players. Not you of course, i've seen your comments on the thread.

I don't care whether you like him or not, the patter "Laffing boy" is absolutely horrific imo.

I'm sure he does realise this, but expecting a professional footballer to be able to pass the ball 5 yards to a team mate isn't too much to ask. Some of our play has been sloppy as fuck recently.

Just read the thread. Tav has contributed plenty this season but he is absolutely burnt out imo and it's affecting his performance visibly, this isn't down to him but down to the manager who keeps selecting him, what's he meant to do? Say he doesn't want to play? He is being mis-managed and it's on Gerrard and he can't complain about not having another option after signing Flanagan to be his other option.
