Just listened to interview and Brown comes across as a guy who has a massive chip on his shoulder and wants to desperately be vindicated for his anti-Green stance. Some of Brown's 'claims' in interview 5000 people outside Edmiston Drive?? Death threats to board of directors because English slaughtered his appointment at Dundee?? Thinks English has something personal against him?? Board at Clyde were against him?? Thinks Jim Traynor betrayed him. Knew 'everything' what was going on at Rangers but didn't know that his own consortium to buy the club had a banned director – FFS! 'I knew everything' – WHAT THE FUCK IS EVERYTHING MR BROWN? Thinks Green is trying to make the club go out of business?? CG raises £22m, fights tooth and nail over history, travels the world talking to fans, gets sponsorship, etc and he thinks CG is trying to make the club go out of business - WTF!!!!! Personally I think Brown thinks he is vindicated because Whyte is making claims and CG has left – wants an apology and is scaremongering! This is more about Brown's ego rather than any perceived threat to the future of the club. Listen to Murray and Mather today about the stability of the club and then listen to Brown. Night and day!

I wasn't shocked by this move. I think it is a very honourable thing that CG is doing. If he didn't have the Club at heart he could have dug his heels and stayed on but he has sacrificed himself for the greater good. Very very commendable and one that any true Rangers man would do. I personally want to thank him for these actions and for the many things he has done to protect our great Club. I think that CG will be a very important figure in our history and hope that one day he will return to the club in an official capacity. Motherwell confuse me on this. They said they wouldn't decide until they had a meeting with their fans - which was supposed to happen last night (anyone know the outcome of this?). But they were quoted as being in favour of reconstruction/takeover on Wednesday or Thursday?? - before they spoke to their fans?? = Weird!! Not unless someone is releasing statements on behalf of these SPL clubs to keep the media campiagn going - Doncaster maybe? - wouldn't surprise me!!

SFA don't want to see full-time football go down the pan - this is likely to happen at some clubs if reconstruction/takeover does not happen.
