What is a good bear?? Heard a lad in the pub today say that we have "lost a good bear" in describing the passing of an elderly man. This term always seems to be used when describing someone who has died. "good bear passed away today"......"he was a good bear" etc etc. Why is "good" the adjective of choice? I never hear someone being described as an exceptional bear, a standard bear, a decent bear, a mediocre bear, a brilliant bear, an average bear, a superb bear or a shit bear. "shit bear passed away"...."we lost a mediocre bear today"......"exception bear will be missed"....."standard bear sadly gone"....."rubbish bear gone too soon"...."fantastic bear never to be forgotten". Why the use of the term "good bear"??

That must be about the 23rd time that the 'pay back' has started. I wish it would stop stopping and just be started all the time. I'm getting confused.

FFS. Think my time may up on here. This board is full of half wits and kids. Some of the shit I've just spent the last two minutes reading has left me feeling truly baffled.

I'm an Englishman but I'm fortunate to have lived most of my life in Scotland. Until fairly recently I always wanted Scotland to do well and at international level theirs was always the second result I looked for. However, as I have grown older I have began to appreciate just what the tartan army are about. Their inferiority complex, the goody two shoes behaviour, their hatred of Rangers (by some) and small time bigoted mentality towards the English has completely changed my view. Whilst I'll always love Scotland the country and its people I want the football team humiliated in every game they play. I absolutely despise the tartan army. It's not a view that I'm particularly vocal about nor one I have consciously chosen but tonight shows just why it's one I have developed over time. I once flew to Malta on the same weekend that Scotland were playing Holland. I passed through Edinburgh and Luton airports. both were packed with tartan army 'foot soldiers', the numbers were a credit to them. However, without a word of a lie, I saw more Dutch and Argentina 'Maradona 86' shirts than Scotland shirts. That sums them up for me. Too worried about being anti English and making friends with the opposition for me to have an once of respect for them. Cunts.

Once the squad is finalised and the players have had a chance to gel these games will be a formality. Folk need to chill out. The lack of stability in our squad and the impact that it has had shouldn't be under estimated.

By far the most mental goal celebration I have been involved in in all my years following the gers. I ended a row down with a cut ear and a badly injured ankle. You often hear commentators use the term "bedlam" in connection with the mood and atmosphere in football grounds and it's often misplaced. However, that was absolute bedlam in that stand that day. It wasn't an assumption. It was stance taken based on my confidence that someone who spells paid "payed" would struggle to "rip me apart" on an internet forum. I go to games with a group ranging from 13 - 64 and as someone in the middle of this span I do my bit. I take exception to being told how to support my club and to this ridiculous, romantic notion that I should approach someone who looks elderly and offer my hand. As I said, self indulgent crap. People support the club in the manner that comes naturally to them and to the level that their circumstances allow. far too many uber-bears telling people how to go about supporting the club.

So it goes like this............ "Well done. Your old, you supported us, you stopped, now you're back. You're my hero, thank you, thank you, may I shake your hand?" A pile of self indulgent crap.

Thirded. I find the mass complaining embarrassing and all it achieves is to show that their tactic is working. They want a rise and they're getting one. It's a cheap shot but I don't give a shit how some no mark journalist views us. What matters to me is how I feel, how my fellow bears feel and the fact that no matter what they say or how many times they say it it will not alter the perception of those that matter. The complaining merely shows insecurity. Fuck them, have a chuckle at their desperation and bide your time. It won't be long before we all have an opportunity to ram some serious 'fuck you' down a lot of throats.
