Too many cup games. Always having to win games in hand.
Not winning head to head against Rangers. Shite support. It is catching up with them!
They have gambled money wise with signings and big wages for Doris stokes. It may blow up in their face....just imagine

Jock Wallace was like the old fashioned Site Agent. He walked around with everyone trying to nail him down for a query or a snippet.
You got about 30 seconds and you better get in quick, because he is a busy man! Feckin' brill!

So happy that Kerber won. The nature of tennis eh? Why I think it is so unique.
Kerber match point down in first round. On the very next point, she became the best player in the Tournament and stayed like that till the end.
They used to coach that. If you were 2 sets down and match point in the third, you could turn it round if you started being the better player from there on in. Just shows you. It also took the winner to beat Konta, so impressed by her.
Andy has played some of the best tennis and shot making in this Slam. Raonic was the real hot player outside the Big 3.
I have not seen Andy so relaxed. He is admitting that their are bigger things than tennis (his family) That seems to have taken weight off him. No big agenda or desperation here. He is gonna go out and hit the ball and if DJO is not at his real best in 3 of the sets, it could happen.

I have to admit if there's one thing I hate most about the Aus Open...apart from the Time Difference...its the scheduling for the Men's Brackets...
If you are in the No1 Seeds bracket of the draw you always get an extra days rest prior to the final against the opponent from the No2 Seeds bracket.
Why both Men's Semi Finals don't take place on the same day I'll never know...it's simply a bizarre stance to take.

I liked this :
If this was about geography, tennis’ World Cup final would be billed as A Nuclear Family from Dunblane against Belgium. The debt British tennis owes the Murray clan was writ large in Saturday’s pivotal doubles, when the Belgians blinked first by simply selecting their best two singles players, Goffin and Steve Darcis.
Yet the Davis Cup has the alchemy of the Ryder Cup, which makes agnostic Europeans cheer for a continent they are conditioned to distrust. It is where men rise above themselves and consume entire nations. Think of John McEnroe, dragging his US team kicking and screaming into the hall of fame, and then consider Andrew Barron Murray.
If you have a pulse you will ignore the siren call of the Premier League and the tiresome diversion of Jose Mourinho’s ego today. You will make use of free-to-air TV, mentally replace Wimbledon’s strawberries and cream with moules and mayo-frosted frites, and emit this bat’s squeak of desire:
Go Andy, Go.

You know that they have been so poor at home. They beat LIVID last week away but they scored a wonder goal and Livid missed a penalty.
I don't think they will risk coming out gung ho. Talking to many fans around here, they reckon st mirren will play on the break with 1 or 2 quick players up front.
However bad they have been at home, we know they will be trying twice as hard against us.
The key for us is better quality finishing on the day.

That's a sexy backhand.
Double handers are the work of savages and heathens.

I love the womens tennis too. Serena is hitting the ball harder than most men back in 60s and 70s. A quick knock up with even a female junior at any tournament might change your mind about womens tennis. TV does a slightly slowed down version which does not do the game true justice. Jesus, Williams would blow your head off if stood at net on a knock up.
They are slogging it out man. It is actually more real to watch because when you see a mens match live, they are on a different planet
What the women are worth, is what the game can afford to pay, Of course it's a misnomer in time on court etc,but good luck to them.

Oh well, 1 point is better than no points, we will just have to knuckle down and get on with it. Now is not the time for turning our backs, we will just have to suck it up and get on with it.

There's only one coach done better than Mauresmo at this slam. I am not blaming her.
Andy caved. Full stop.
However, it's still a great start to the year and if he keeps being in contention he will get another slam.
Andy Murray can't get a slam without lendle sitting in the stand? I don't believe that for a minute.
