  1. On the other hand, Billy Davies' record is slightly different. He helped Motherwell avoid relegation with 5 games left - in the spl, big deal Next season he nearly qualified Motherwell for Europe - in the spl, big deal Next season Motherwell directors sold 9 players and as a result he got sacked??? Season 05 he took Preston to play-offs for Prem League = failed Season 06 he did the same = failed Later he took Derby into the Premier League - then were pish Season 09 with Notts Forest he did a run of 15 unbeaten matches from Sept which included 10 wins and 5 draws - check out ally's longest run I rest my case m'lord - i wont be hiring you as my lawyer any time soon. Even if we need a new manager, this is a shite argument for billy davies
  2. And when a new manager comes in and the players still cant get their act together away from home, then what? Whatever you think of Ally, the players are a joke away from home, yet can do fine at ibrox so how would another manager change that?
  3. Why did we not sell naming rights to ibrox years ago. We should be making money every way way we can. I will still call it ibrox and so will everyone else so whats the problem with doing this?
  4. Why do so many people claim not to read these papers, or listen to certain radio shows, but still manage to post topics or links about them? If you dont like them, dont read them, dont buy them, dont click on links to them and stop maoning about them. Just ignore them altogether.
  5. Voted yes, but I think the only way a boycott will work if there is a clear and definite number of games or timescale that the fans are going to boycott certain grounds. For example boycott the first 2 games we have to play at their grounds (wether this be in the cup or when back in the same league as most of them. After that we should only take the same number of tickets for their grounds that they sell at an average game at ibrox. Eventually if the other clubs treat Rangers fans better, charge sensible prices and dont use them as a money maker then the fans could return in significant numbers to away games. But a long term boycott and never going back surely hurts the Rangers players and they desserve our backing no matter what.
  6. I agree to some extent on a boycott, but how long does it go on for? We will be playing most of these teams regularly in a few years time. At what point do we decide that supporting the team away is more important than hurting other teams?
  7. I understnad fully your opinion, and I wont be going, but i just cant see a boycott happening. I think its just going to have to be a personal thing for all fans or groups to decide themselves. Some wont go back but loads will. If you play aberdeen or inverness (dont even know if they are still in the cup) for example there will be fans who stay up that way who dont get to many games who will go because its a rare chance for them to see the Gers. And if we get C*lt*c there will be no problem selling thousands of tickets in my opinion. So those who want to boycott should and those that dont want to will at least be there to give support to the team and manager.
  8. "I don't care where I play so long as I wear the Rangers colours". Jimmy Millar
  9. He is doing and saying just about everything right at the moment, and some of his comments have been brilliant (his PR people obviously know what they are doing). He has also stood up for the club like nobody else in the last 10 years for us. However we need to remember that he is ultimately here to make himself and any investors money in the medium-long term. While I have no problem with him doing that we need to make sure that the club is left in a healthy state when this does happen and that the best interests of the club and fans are looked after.
  10. Just for the record, the guy who made those comments wasnt the club captain. Richard Sinclair is the official Queens Park club captain and he is a massive Gers fans. Hopefully he will be fit and will get the chance to play against the team he has always supported in the games this season rather than the idiot who made those stupid comments.
  11. Although i dont really care about anything going on in the SPL anymore i do have to have a right good laugh at them now. And just think how much worse its going to get for them when the shite weather is here, and they are a couple of years down the line etc and there is even less to play for and the fans start deserting all the clubs. no more than 25000-30000 at the piggery soon enough for league games, while we go from strength to strength. The SPL is finished.
  12. It will never end as long as we have freedom of speech and thats why you shouldnt get yourself worked up over these kind of guys. Their main aim is to wind up rangers fans or whoever they are having a go at on any given day. If you dont like what people have to say or what they write the only option is to ignore them, dont buy papers they write in and dont listen to radio shows they are on etc.
  13. Nah, lets just not get all upset because someone tells a joke about our manager (i dont know what the joke was by the way but it doesnt really matter). And really does anyone care what cowan and cosgrove have to say for themselves. The fact you listen to them at all or read what they have to say is the biggest joke. Plus im sure Ally is big enough and tough enough to stand up for himnself and give back as good as he gets.
  14. Celtic Supporting Mark guidi makes a joke about the rangers manager at at c*eltic supporters event. Shock horror. Im outraged. The guy must be sacked, then hung drawn and quartered. Shocking, just shocking.
  15. In another thread some guy called rangers fans idiots if you support mccoist, some of our coaching staff morons and barry ferguson and kris boyd arseholes and people were generally agreeing with the guy. Thats what your up against in here. Can you imagine the reaction of some of these guys if charles green had got rid of mccoist in the summer as was being rummoured in the media at the time. There would have been outrage. Now they want rid of the guy. Its madness
  16. Had plenty of them in the past so can live with one more eve3n if it was an accident
  17. It isnt possible to make any point on here without someone calling you a tarrier if they dont agree. Based on the fact we will win promotion no matter who is the manager, surely McCoist deserves this whole season at least to see what he can do. Things arent great at the moment but at least give the guy a chance after everything he has been through and done for the club. If the football is still shite come the end of the season then change it but FFS its only september.
  18. Sorry I didnt realise that because none of us work in an official capacity for rangers that we can say what we like but be offended at stuff said by someone who is a paid member of the stirling albion staff. I must be imagining that thats double standards / hypocritical /pathtetic(delete as appropriate).
  19. Everyone can see the difference, but to say its ok for us to do it but not for someone else to and be all offended by it is pathetic.
  20. Nobody said what he did wasnt wrong. The point is that your double standards are laughable. Its ok for you to do it on a fans forum but not him? What makes you think you should be allowed to do something that someone else isnt allowed to regardless of what his position is.
  21. Fair enough, still dont believe you got up this morning and were disgusted when you read the story.
  22. So its ok for us to do, but if the big bad stirling albion secretary does it then we should all be outraged? Utter pish
  23. Your spot on here. Some people dont realise how ridiculous it is to kid on the are outrgaed by his comments but use as bad or worse terms for other people. Some people are getting as bad as c*ltic fans for their kid on outrage and offence.
  24. While that may be true, i very much doubt that anyone on here found his comments 'highly offensive' or was 'disgusted' by his remarks which is what people on here are suggesting.
  25. I seem to remember we used to laugh at a certain other club who's fans were always offended by everything. Im sure the term mock outrage was often used. Some people on here are becoming just as bad.
