Today I watched a Rangers team taken apart by Celtic and witnessed our support being humiliated by this team. Our support has been patient but we need major investment this season for both on the park and also the infrastructure of our club. Mr King if you cannot do this then sell the club to someone who can do it. The only reason you I believe passed the fit and proper test for this spfl cabal was because they new you had no money and so the embarrassment continues. I am no fan of Mike Ashley but he appears to be the only person at the moment who has the financial clout to turn this round immediately. Mr King for the sake of this support who have suffered now for six years go to him and beg for the money or better still find a way to sell to him because believe me he has the finances to bury Celtic forever if he chooses to do so. As a Rangers supporter I really don't care about little groups of supporters disliking Ashley or fleecing our great club I want my team to compete again. Mr King under you this embarrassment will go on way past 10 in a row. Mr King get the cash now or go.

Thanks guys for debating this thread and some poignant points put forward. I am an optimist and believe we will get back our rightful position as the number one team in the country. I pray that when we win our next trophy that will silence the vast majority of our critics. Hopefully that takes away the negativity and we return to a united support ready and able to go forward in a positive manner together.

This boy is a confidence player who is still learning his trade. He needs time to improve but hopefully the manager will instill this in him.

A great tribute to a true blue

As an older bear of some considerable age I hark back to a time when as a support we were never divided by individuals, groups or enemies of our club. We were dominant and supported our team to great glory over the years. We were afraid of no one and nothing and our fans were legendary throughout the land and abroad. I can't help thinking what has happened to us as a support over the past few years. We bicker with each other constantly and drag our club through the dirt in the full view of our enemies. We are torn apart by loyalty to one group or another each trying to outdo the other to the detriment of the club itself. We have problems with identity in our own country which causes even more division between us. I would like us all to take a step back and consider how we can get back that unity so that when the glory days return on the pitch we are united as brothers of this great footballing institution of it. Can we debate constructively as to how we can achieve this and make an older bear happy again.

I took four because I'm a greedy bassa. Goalkeeper Goram simply because he was the best in my time watching Rangers. Defender has to be terry butcher who would run through walls for our club. Midfielder would be Souness for his leadership and his flair and attitude and up front McCoist for his predatory skills. All four were legends at our club but could have named many more in that category.

Mental days

Olivier Bernard was voted as best player at newcastle came to us and was a dud.

Jock Wallace now there's a real Rangers man. A voice that struck fear into the players and a work ethic that ensures our team was the fittest in the league. A character from a different era but still enshrined in our hearts.
