Is a good 13/14 season retro datbase now out.

Not that crazy when you consider vice city took less that a year to make. And SA less than 2. The average now for such a major game is 8 years. Things like covid and staff changes defo added to the wait for this one though.

Shame the AI is not much better like they promised. Still not very good at squad building etc. Biggest turn off for me though is they still have not improved newgen/regren stats. So if you do a long term save stat wise the overall quality of generated players gets worse and worse. So its ends up a struggle to find fullbacks etc with good enough crossing stats.

hate having to wait a few months till the lower-league mods are created.

Enjoyed that DB is a good one. Think for 24 the same people are making a 07/08 DB looking forward to trying that one.

still can't decide if its worth getting the ultimate edition. Is it really worth the 7 days of early access and 4k coins.

The better AI squad building for 24 looks good. I think given the bad reception 23 got for being feature lacking and the fact 25 is a new chapter kinda forces them to make sure they have a few good new things for 24 in order for it to appeal to people. Because they will certainly know people might be tempted to skip this version. in a funny way might actually make them work hard to sell copies this year. I do wonder with 25 if they will trim down a lot of features and start with a fresh slate. Then in 26 27 28 etc and beyond they slowly redo and add the features back be them upgraded and improved. You see that will a lot of long running games when they do a new version.

Will only get it if Ibrox is in the game so I can do a pro career mode. Don't bother with FUT anymore.

any one see the new road map for fm 24 and 25?

The footage yesterday certainly got me hyped about it.

I could see starfield being rubbish. Seems like a lot of these types of space games, no mans sky, star citizen etc tend to be a bit too ambitious for their own good. When It comes out I will watch a few play-throughs and streams to see what it looks like before I decide to buy it or not.

To the point of them revisiting the same cities time and time again, instead of any new setting. To be fair the tech at the time only allowed them to do so much with the original Vice City. Now they are not really held back by old tech, so they can really do vice city justice. Also, The original cities remain some of the most popular games of all time. So there is massive demand from the fanbase to revisit the old settings, as people want to see vice city again but on a grander scale and with new graphics. So I don't mind returning to VC. That said I think for 7 which is god knows how long away, we defo need a new setting.

I am a big rockstar fan but have to admit I have lowered my expectations for this game because its the first big game they are releasing since they fell out with a key producer who had worked on all the other great rockstar games. That's clearly been one of the reasons for the many delays for this game.

Was such a horrible shock to see him trending on twitter earlier tonight as the news had just broken. Really hoping for the best.
