This tax case damaged us years before the case came to light, lets not forgot the UEFA cup run in 2008 a magnificient acheivement but we all must have known something was wrong when we barely had enough numbers to fill the bench that season, also selling our decent players when offered scratch of the surface value. Some spoilt little ar*ehole(s) who started the witch hunt managed to abuse their power and we the club are the ones who suffered, the scummers would still be looking for scraps from us right now if it wasn't for this, I don't think there is anything that can ever make up for this.

I was at old trafford when we were turned over by man utd. I wanted to sit down but at 6"6 my knee's were jammed into the seat in front and my are about 10 inches from my seat so i had to hover for 2hrs in my chair. Ibrox definately has adequate space.

We go back to the UEFA incident which was brought about by a Celtic delegate rattles me to the bone. That Chairman of theirs who only speaks out to suck up to the brain dead when he's tarnishing our name. Speaking out saying Rangers should be stripped of trophies, titles and even prize money. Just on another point as well, the way Septic have been gloating has been enraging. the comments on daily record are are like they are from Hitler himself, these are on rangers stories. Can they not focus on their own fecking team? is it just me or are Septic fans not actually Septic fans but just the worst breed of human beings known to man. Even the story about the bastards tearing our stadium to shit aren't on the news, its like diplomatic immunity cos they are predominantly irish.

I couldn't agree more mate. Murray had a vision and i'd rather we had the glory days what he achieved than sitting in the shadows of Septic and Aberdeen being the only clubs in Scotland. We've had better days than we're having now but 3 in a row when your skint is more satisfying than 3 in a row when your spending 10-15m a season is it not. If we win this tax case which sources say we will, it'll be forever shrouded by the fact that Murray wasn't remembered for his acts of unselfishness but was made a scapegoat instead.

Christian daily for me, I remeber watching him against septic in a title run in and knew he'd cost us the game/title and he did just that.

After the Septic game i think we need to move him on but I'd rather he prove me wrong, a couple of dodgy touches today but more than made up for it with his determination to chase every ball.

seems to me that septic just hang around like vulchers waiting to see who we've offered a deal to then tickle their arses with a few extra feathers when the players agent fishes around for a better deal. I'll miss Murray, alot of people posting on these forums were too happy to give him stick during the bad times, but the good times outweighed the bad times by a mile. Under his leadership we've seen some greats come to Ibrox who could have easily joined the top leagues in Europe and that was down to "the man" and possibly at times his cheque book. But i'd rather reflect on the achievements under his guidance rather than discussing the debts. Lets hope the new man has deep pockets but more importantly knows how to take this great club forward

No need to jump on the guy's back. Paul Le Guen raised his profile significantly higher than a player on loan at St Mirren could have promised, but he's only 23 and is a player that is very useful in certain (although i agree not alround) situations. PS he's come from the production line of murray park and people were expecting a god like figure to appear from some time soon. Adam didn't fill the expectations but he tried. Fair play to the guy, hopefully he'll be back to prove he's a worthy player for years to come.

I voted yes, If he is such a prospect he needs a bigger stage than reserve team. The ronaldhino's, ronaldo's, and messi's were playing early on and breaking through in excellent teams. I'm not saying that Fleck can be compared to those kind of players yet but in the future who knows.

The fact of the matter is the team we've got can punch with the best of em but we can't attract the superstars. Now imagine just having the extra £45m (each team in the EPL is guaranteed £50m) to spend each year, then our income from shirt sales and merchandise would also hit the roof. I'm just pointing out to the negatives on here that our stakes would be through the roof. Of course this will never happen but lets not argue that we'd never be a force to be scared off cos we would, hence why when it when it was discussed by the FA something like 18 out of 20 said no to the idea

A club like us need something big like UEFA cup in the trophy cabinet, there is no way we would trade something like that to step aside. Its arguable to say that a massive club like us playing in a small league like the SPL may not get another chance in our lifetimes to see another European final. Its just the way it is now, even the russians and the turks have no problem splashing out 20-25 million on a single player. This now seems to be the second time its happened in 16 years, i cannot think of another team who have been affected more by a similar scenario. Its obvious that if Zenit are found guilty it won't make a difference to us but if we can't be awarded the cup, but the least uefa could do us present us with a rubber fist award for working so hard to get so close then being bent over and shafted in a tounament that is regulated by UEFA. Any team involved in match fixing in future should be subject to a 50 year european ban as that would really put the shitters up any team. Rant over

I'd really like to see Aaron make an appearance very soon, but he's gotta earn his place by impressing in training. I don't know whether he's doin that or not but if he gets called up without putting in the effort then we're setting a really bad example to the others.

We should keep and offer reduced wages, Mcleish used to play him regularly but when he was injured we lacked creativity. We've now got Davis who deserves the place more but if that gave Burke the kick up the arse he needs to compete for the right wing role then thats great, plus we always need backup.

Never given a real chance, and when he was needed we didn't play him cos it would invoke an appearance fee to his previous club. would have have liked to see him stay but not left to rot in the reserves, he's better than charlie adam (and i quite like adam)
