Depends on the style of football Ally wants to play. If he wants to continue with Smith's style then we need CBs. If he'd like to be a bit more open and adventurous then he should get a greedy, controlling midfielder like Ferguson.

Green has said he's in it for the money, and once we are back in the top flight he will have earned that money. I fully expect him to sell to Douglas Park and Walter once we are there, I'm sure it's all sorted out.

I never said that either. If someone is demanding that a team wins all the time or they will lose interest in them how can they be anything but a glory hunter? You pay the money to watch the team and so you can call yourself a supporter, you are not owed anything by the club/players. Same as above, the team plays their games and you get to experience it. They owe you nothing. Murray ruined you all. Arsenal fans don't go along every week and protest that they havent won a trophy in a number of years, do they? They accept where they are but still continue showing an interest in the team and go to games becaus ethey are supporters of the club.

That wouldnt get a decent manager, that would get you someone who's in it for the money. It may be able to attract a big name, but who is to say he would have the motivation to do a good job or that he'd be any good in the first place?

You're putting words in my mouth. I never said all Rangers fans were glory hunters, I said that the ones complaining and giving up tickets for the team not winning or playing super amazing football with a bunch of 17yos are.

IF that person is complaining about his team not winning while having spent thousands of pounds on them then yes, I'd say he's a glory hunter.

You do know there's been quite a few losses to the team, right? The standard of player has dropped a little. Not a lot of players want to play in division 3, and those who do are probably only in it for the money. He could fix the defensive issues by using the methods he has been shown, but then people complain about the football being boring and the team not attacking enough. Instead of playing guys out of position would you prefer he played someone inexperienced? How about just bring in some new players, eh? As far as I know, Ally is not some spectacular coach who has impressed everyone at Largs with his spectacular training methods and insight, he knows the style of football he has been shown.

What makes you think anyone would want to come to a club where the fans seem to have turned on one of their greatest players for not winning the league quicker than 2 months, or stylishly enough despite having no real expertise in advanced training methods? McCall wont give up what he has, nor would Butcher. Ally is probably the only man who wanted the job tbf.
