  1. It would only be a worry if we handed him - a large cheque to sign dross - gave him a large contract with x amount of compensation built in - allowed him to to burst our wage structure
  2. Clear the lot of them out or put them on gardening leave and get someone in who is cheap as caretaker until the end of the season. Then advertise the job and let people apply for it. Have seen McInnes mentioned quite a bit but other than actually improving us in the short term what would he do for us long term.....does he have the experience to change the whole set up.....can he get players that will improve us and provide value to sell on.....where will he take us in Europe Frankly right now I would stick Kenny Miller in charge
  3. Average age of Hearts starting line on Sunday - 23.45 Ours last night 29.36 Bheasts Sat 24.63 Dare say I could go through every SPL team and the championship and the result would be the same......the average age of everyone's else squad is probably around 5 years less than ours. Whilst it may not seem like much it just goes to show how the whole structure needs to change. We sign Boyd on who know's what per week for zero goals in the league. Heart's take a chance on a 20 year old who has 6 goals so far and you can guarantee he is getting a damn site less than boyd. I still believe we will go up but the question remains exactly how do we rebuild a squad.
  4. I will be happy if we scrape 2-1 every round including the final Midweek games especially cup games against poorer opposition have always been scrappy affairs a lot of the time
  5. A young forward or a creative midfielder would be great on loan and like it or not when we get to the SPL next year we will have to look at that. If that is players that we have the option to buy or simply have on loan for a period. Ignoring Ally for a minute who thinks that the current squad would be good enough to win the SPL next year? So where do we get the players from? Even if we raised money from another share issue where would we get them hopefully bearing in mind we would have a salary cap of some sort. I would much rather we got someone on loan from an EPL side and paid part of their salary than give some SPL team money for one of their players
  6. Would it be mad to suggest instead of paying them off in one go you put them on notice that there contracts are ending and they don't need to turn up each day. Then get another "fresh" manager who could invigorate the team along with the support. Yes it would be an extra expense however how many extra supporters would it bring in?
  7. here is the link if people want it http://www.thecourier.co.uk/sport/football/dundee-united/who-do-they-think-they-re-talking-to-dundee-united-chief-rages-at-aggressive-sfa-statement-1.275406
  8. not only was he a great player he played for the jersey through the pain which could had contributed to his dodgy hips
  9. Sadly you can guarantee they will rip us off with the price of tickets
  10. Penny shares are any shares under £1 in a company. With regards to Dave King stating he does not want to line peoples pockets fine.....but why not go out and purchase shares from investors that bought via the IPO who will have lost money. Some of them may want out and doing this would allow him to push for a seat on the board
  11. 5 of the red cards where with Southend He wants to improve and keep winning so that is good enough for me
  12. Rangers are a limited company so there is only a few ways they can secure finance as they cannot take fresh capital injection without shareholders approval. Working in finance and having read the statements Easdale is basically giving an interest free loan or facility with no fees. Laxley are providing a bridging facility which normally would cost around 2-4% to set up with monthly costs of 0.75-1.5% (£7500-£15000 per month) so the deal seems favourable. I know there have been quite a few teams that have had bridging finance in the past so it would be interesting to see what they paid for theirs.
  13. We are the biggest club in Scotland so why should we not act professional before games. I have saw the figure of 5k for hotel stays before games and with 200k originally paid to Stockbridge this would have covered a whole season easily. Cost's have to be cut of that there is no doubt but not things that impact on player's performance.
  14. With falling sales figures they have to print rubbish in the hope that more punters will buy it Would be great if in addition to not buying the rag it is not even discussed on here
  15. Hi first post Looked over the details on companies house. Whilst not an expert I am a director of my own company and have submitted a bit of information to companies house over the past few years. You can either submit it online or post a form. It looks to me that the headcase Whyte has chanced his arm and completed AP01 form to appoint a director. It seems to me that the original company was incorporated and about a month after this Green was appointed a director....this is the usual practice that you get accountants/sols/incorporation agents to set up a company before taking control. You do not get any online access to companies house until you start to submit things like your annual return (which has not been done for Sevco 5088 as it has not done anything). It has notice to strike off which will have been done on the instruction of Green. You can see all the information on the company and indeed pay a £1 a time to get the documents. So I will just be ignoring the pish that tabloids are peddling under the pretence of journalism unless some court ruling shows otherwise...
