I was told this by a very well known figure inside Ibrox then and now,and a man i believe to be of the highest integrity. One of Douglas Park's sons who was negotiating with D and P on his father's behalf was becoming increasingly frustrated because every time they gave D and P what they wanted for the deal to be done the goalposts were moved. Only Green's consortium were ever going to be allowed to get our club. I will believe that till my dying day.

Keith jackson's article today is my understanding of what was going on. I have been banging the drum about this since all of this started. D and P knew who was to get the club and that was Charles Green's consortium. Every time tbk consortium gave D and P what they wanted the goalposts were moved. Don't forget D and P were whyte's choice and whyte thought he had a deal done with Green,only problem for whyte was that Green shafted him.
