  1. An on paper loss is good from a tax point of view, and after the last debacle we need to show fuck all every year for as long as we can.
  2. Indeed - its good to see tbh. Both of them clean and clear it would seem - maybe need to take a lesson from that.
  3. I am hoping to be at night with them and Durrant in May, fingers crossed it goes ahead.
  4. If you can't see what is wrong with this, then you are a lost cause.
  5. I flew from Asia for the game. The old boy and my brother were with me, and we had tickets for the West Enclosure. Being an ex-East Enclosure man that was a bit hard to swallow, but the UB/TBO guys were superb. The G4S abuse was very amusing. Pity the game was dire, but 3 points none the less. I have to say, why there are 6 cops watching the troops singing for the whole game just shows the waste of resources throughout the country. What a joke Scotland has become. WATP
  6. Because they are a bunch of tarrier bastards. I am surprised you are asking.
  7. Its a commodity like anything else and can be bought and sold as you please.
  8. Shocking that this is what we have come to, relying on these guys for a bob or two. Murray, Whyte and anyone else involved should hang their heads in fucking shame.
  9. I agree - I can't see that many ordinary guys going for it. I reckon I might, but only to get back what I lost before. Buy and sell, with a few kept for the kids, but any investments will not be done as before. More info needed though.
  10. I will be looking to buy and then sell to offset the loss made with the last shareload. I will then write to Murray and Whyte and tell them that even with their best efforts, I came out on top.
  11. At the end of the day this is for the small investor or fan buying from/for the heart. Any heavy hitter is going to want to know the full current status before they weigh in.
  12. I have to say I am bit surprised its being offered this early. I suppose it could be argued that the investors want their cash back ASAP, which is fair enough as they are obviously going to want to minimise their exposure in any investment. Another point in explaining an early offering might be that if fans buy now, then as we progress up the leagues the shares will increase in value, however that is assuming that they can sold in the future. As most fans will likely just want to have them as keepsakes, that point won't apply. One thing that hasn't been mentioned in this thread yet is that if you had a load of shares before we went bust, you lost them, along with the cash value. As I was one of those folk, I feel it is too early to be buying in, when really we have no clue what the investors will do once they have their cash back with a 200% plus profit. The other matter is that if they waited to offer/sell them, would they not then make more money, as the club would be worth more - ie at the end of the season? That being the case, and the fact they are in it for the money, why are they making moves now? Still a few questions to be answered for me.
  13. Bring back bad memories for you? I assume you haven't gone to many Euro away games as its always there, and for the record, most folk have a sense of humour. It would seem that even the Bursa polis are more up for a laugh than you, Ryan
  14. As a group, we never take defeat well, especially if it starts to become a regular occurrence. History shows that when it goes wrong, we don't turn up. Great crowds recently even with all the BS, but we have been winning and need to keep that rolling. Come on Ally - keep us winning!!
  15. If J. Hannah registered all those who asked to set up clubs, or replied to their mails, there might be more.
  16. Dunno if I would leave that email address up, unless you want the Gaz to get dog abuse from all the scum on here. Edit - I might also add that the tarriers/Celtic fans in Perth are some of the most disgusting IRA supporting scum I have ever had the misfortune to witness in my life.
  17. His leg is a total mess - just lets you see the damage was enormous.
  18. Its not just about the ground/tickets mate - when no one is in the pub, buying a carry out, the Greggs is empty, no one is buying smokes at the local shop, etc etc, thats when it hits home much they will have fucked up. When sponsors of the local team are hit, they will be on the phone kicking up fuck at the stupidity of it all. Thats when changes come.
  19. Laughable - most players, whomever they play for, are born winners, whether its cards, football or golf. Thats why they do well at sport - they don't like getting beaten and will do anything to prevent that happening, including cheating. When you then think that folk reckon McCall just told his players to lie down, it is beyond ridiculous.
  20. Any credibility was lost after the failure to pay scenario, and the lack of action to resolve and hold those accountable by the other board members. To me I wasted money on three life memberships for me, my brother and old boy. For that, I won't be forgetting what happened.
  21. Simple fact is they let him down. He was let down by more than them as well though, but the less that is discussed in public the better. I can see where folk are coming from with their views, however I still feel that sticking it to one of our own is wrong. No one can doubt that Bomber wanted and wants the best for Rangers. If folk don't want to believe that, fair enough, but there was not one of the legends, including McCoist, who thought that he was wrong (at the end of May) and I would assume that 3 months later, not too much has changed. In saying that, obviously Green has done well to date, and should be applauded. However, I would also say that caution still needs to be exercised, and that can't be a bad thing after all that has happened.
