  1. The road Coistys house is on there is a great spot for catching mackerel from the shore. It can be a bit snaggy closer in but plenty fish on a rising tide. Nice shiny blue proddy mackerel as well.
  2. Again - Why would anyone not want a say in their club? Buy shares and then not want a vote and say? That is surely a weird way of thinking?
  3. I am bit confused by some of the replies on this thread - are all the shareholders on here saying that they DON'T want a say in how the club is run re the vote on the board? Why would anyone not want a say in their club?
  4. No matter what happens, his bird has great knockers.
  5. I take it you learned nothing about how tax authorities work during disputes, even with the publicity my team, The Rangers, received over the last few years? You are guilty until proven innocent. King thought their demands were excessive in 2002. They threatened him with the jail as they always do. He came to the table which is what they wanted. Now they have agreed a figure they both feel is fair. How does that make him a crook?
  6. Jack Irvine of Media House said: “The whole leaking of emails is being investigated by the police at the highest level, so I cannot comment on that.” Another lie as leaking info from a private company is not something the cops will be investigating, as there is no crime. If he is saying they have been hacked, then they may be involved, but he doesn't deny he emailed those remarks to someone = contract terminated anyway for being a wanker.
  7. If the Easdales want to make a go of it, good luck to them. They are both big Rangers men which is what I would rather have at the top. I just hope they have deep pockets - any football club takes cash to run. It doesn't matter where you are or what level you are at.
  8. You are spot on regarding the cash - for 80-100k you could get top line people who would work their ass off for the Club, and would run silently in he background without any press releases. We are getting taken for mugs by the lot of them.
  9. To me it is a time for fans to vote. Let the club ask for fan reps / fans to put themselves forward with their proposals as to why they should be representing us in a certain amount of words. The votes would come from season ticket holders, shareholders or registered fan club members. This means only bluenoses and not others can vote. It also means that you are getting input from the hardcore which is really what you want - folk who put their cash where there heart is. Once the votes are in, the top one or two is either on the board or party to all and any board meetings. Another option is the Presidents of ORSA, NARSA, etc are included as candidates, and can be voted for. The ultimate result will be trusted Rangers men with an overview of the everyday goings on, a vested interest in making sure the club succeeds and a duty to report any findings to the rest of us. Who would see themselves is such a role?
  10. The parasites all know they are on the way out, and they will take what they came for in the first place, by hook or by crook. "He said he only came for the money" - yes, and he may well leave with it all as well. This is exactly why having a supporter involved who also faces the prospect of losing his club is a good thing. He will fight as hard as us to make the club a success and protect it for his sons and daughters as well.
  11. Saving money, cheaper players, low cost manager etc is all fine and dandy but ultimately no matter what we or don't spend we are expected to win every game. That is what The Rangers are all about. If we changed the manager to save 250K and came second this season by a point, no-one would be giving a toss how much it would cost to turn it around. It days gone by when we were losing no one mentioned what players go paid, the only topic was winning. The end.
  12. No. He is a businessman, thus only here for the money. As such he will not leave (be a non-shareholder/ not involved) until he has made said money by any means. He doesn't give a flying f#ck about Rangers - why would he? He is here for the cash and will keep taking until he has made whatever his number is. Nor will he be worrying about what happens to the team/stadium/staff or who he f#cks over on the way, and that includes us. Folk always argue that, "well he put in his own money" - true. But, its the taking out of said investment and whatever else he wants on top that is the concern. As the big shareholders, they are not going to accept a loss on the cash put in. There is no limit to what they will do to get it back as they are not supporters, thats why even if the supporters (Rangers men) are not as biz savvy, if you want the club safe, then it's the only way to go.
  13. For the first time in years last night I had a few Blackthorn in the White Stag in Hong Kong. I also "persuaded" my two mates to participate as well. What a f#ckin' state. Interesting stuff.

  15. The only reason Ally should be agreeing to meet popcorn teeth overseas is that Ally will know exactly where he will be, and at what time, and that as a result of the EU recession, any work carried out over there will be cheaper than in the UK.
  16. Try posting from East Asia - I get a list of languages that I have to delete everytime thus I have to write and paste everytime - be grateful you don't have the same. With regard to Bomber, etc - please proceed with your ask no questions policy. I lost a fortune on the last shares that were deemed worthless - what about you? Fuck all I would guess thus your resistance to anyone who asks a question. Stupid is, as stupid does.
  17. Good post mate. For me, he stated quite clearly at the start of the season that Green and Whyte were involved together. Everyone said he was nuts. I can understand that from the point of view that none of us wanted to have more bad news – this is standard human behaviour, so no surprises there. Easier to hide and hope than act. It now seems he was right. Folk forget that Strathclyde Police interviewed Bomber 9 months or so ago. As we all know, fraud investigations take a long time. A year for completion is a very good time frame. Is the SP case finished or nearing completion? I don’t know, but Bomber seems to think that something is ready to be announced. Is that the reason that Bomber can’t open up about everything? He passed the info/evidence to the cops and thus it is sub-judice? Why has no-one asked this? Are the mhedia useless, biased and just a bunch of Shettleston harriers? Who knows, but we all now know after the radio “interview” that TM is a complete dullard who will say anything to punt his own agenda and earn a coin. Fair enough I suppose as we all must pay the bills, but to be abusive and insulting to someone, and then paint it as his opinion, is a joke. For the record Mr. English, I think you are a disgusting lying freak with no morals or professional integrity who actively set out to upset and harass John Brown and his family, to stir up community tensions and thereby cause and propagate religious hatred, but only my opinion of course. And as you said, we are all allowed an opinion.
  18. I think Tom English showed himself up for what he is. He contradicted himself and is a worm. Always sad and disappointing to see supposed Bluenoses slagging their own, but worse, to laugh and ridicule - sickening. He states that the people he spoke to at Rangers are still taking a wage - does that mean that they won't rock the boat whilst they get paid? Surely people can see that? Seems that The Goalie believes him - is he a fool and liar as well? No comments about him though? What about the multiple others players who were present and backed Bomber at the Thistle meeting? (The RM rep was there if anyone needs them named) Are they fools and liars as well? I don't think ripping him in public is acceptable at all. Just my view. There are plenty of tarriers who are happy to laugh and take the piss - we shouldn't be involved such behaviour at all.
  19. Going by our recent results we should be looking at Bomber as manager, never mind recalling his accurate prophesies from last year. It seems he is able to motivate players to give it their all - something we badly need.
  20. There is too much cash at stake for anyone to be leaving the board of their own volition. Walter will be going no-where, and neither will anyone else, except Green’s sidekick who will be seen as a spy in the camp now. Bain lined his pockets at Rangers and was caught. I would be amazed if he came back under any guise, however there are still men there who also filled their accounts, but were not exposed. That’s how business works though.
  21. Aye, but 20%? F#ck me, I am in the wrong game.
  22. The best laugh in all this is that I am quite sure the main reason the Cops shut it down is that they had good information that there was going to be trouble or the demo was going to take a PIRA turn. As tarriers go, there will be an inside man reporting regularly on his own kind - that is their style for a potato or two.
  23. I quite fancied bidding on this but I read the brief from the auction house and it said that the buyer had to pay them a 20% fee on the sale value - so if I am understanding them, that would be 2K onto the 10K it sold for. I would happily pay the money for it as its such a unique item, but 2K extra for nowt basically? No way.
  24. My mates local team in the Conference is Welling United. he is absolutely creaming himself at the thought of us being there, and him travelling up to Ibrox. He said everyone he speaks to is in a frenzy about it. To me we have to continue to explore this at every level.
