2 disappointing goals we gave away tonight. Felt as though we should have subbed Tillman out just after the break he looked knackered. Arfield would have be a brilliant option to bring on imo. Also Sands just doesn’t fill me with confidence he looked lost when in possession at the back painful viewing at times. Work to do but kinda feel we had to win this tonight to have any chance.

Concerning we don’t have any other options at centre back even back up wise. Surely this is an area we should be looking at strengthening further. No way we can rely on Souttar & Helander giving the fitness of both throughout a season.

McLaughlin Tav Goldson Davies Yilmaz Davis Jack Wright Arfield Matondo Colak Ideal lineup for me rest the likes of Kent, Lundstrum, Tillman & Lawrence.

Great result but still issues there we need to iron out. Scrappy goals, slack passes & some of our final 3rd play just isn’t clicking at the moment. We won’t get away with that against Monaco or PSV.

Might be in the minority but Alfredo would be nowhere near my starting selection he looked so unfit at the weekend he’s not ready for a game of this magnitude yet I reckon he’s weeks off any decent level of match fitness

We don’t even look fit at all toothless upfront as well can’t see where the goals are coming from.

Bastard tough draw both teams are strong. I’m not ruling out our chances but we have to be at it in every department to get a result. Here’s hoping we get up to speed before it comes.

Apparently Kent was limping badly coming off the team bus back at Ibrox really hope he’s fit for this one would be a huge miss if he’s not

Thought he looked really good looks far more suited to that role than what Lawrence offered

Looked miles off it today going forward I’d stick with Sands until Davies is fit

Still feel like we’re missing something in the middle of the park other than that we look good especially with Davies & Yilmaz to come in at the back also

Given the results of the votes above. Do most people agree it’s a better squad than what it was last season?. Or have we marginally improved ? Think we’re lacking that “marquee” type addition tbh.

Tbf he was really young when he signed and hasnt had a lot of games at schalke I wouldn’t read to much into that.

Really hoping Zukowski can kick on this season after his injury spell especially with Tav getting that bit older now we will need someone to step up & fill the shoes when it happens boy looks a unit though & had a decent debut performance in that cup game.

Have to say Arsenal having some window Viera signed and if they wrap up Jesus & Raphina thus far that’s looking like a strong team especially with Saliba coming back as well

But that won’t be the case let’s not kid ourselves

Hoping we avoid PSV I’d say they are probably the strongest out of the teams in the mix

Not to bothered at this Balogun has been pretty much injury prone most of the season & firth has offered nothing we’ve got Katic coming back who can almost certainly fill the gap left goes to show platforms/Journalists like 4th official & Jordan Campbell etc spouting nonsense when in reality they know absolutely nothing about our transfer plans
