  1. 35 yard strike. Can girls even kick it that far? Aha, that was a bad one. Congrats ladies, done us proud.
  2. I've only been in Glasgow for a couple of years and struggling with cash so most I've paid will be a lot less than some, or most on here. £40 was the most I paid for a ticket but I paid that amount 5 times. Which was a lot when on a budget. Those European nights were special. Couldn't get a hold off a Barca ticket and missed Fiorentina because I wasn't in Glasgow. £40 ticket + £5 scarf + £2 return subway = £47 the most I've spent. The least was £15 for East Stirling and against Partick.
  3. Optimistic. I was dreading this game after our defeat in Europe but some quality signings have given me a bit more belief. We have a few more options available to us so I think we can be still attack minded if he does go 4-5-1. And I think Miller, if chosen, will have a good game for us because he doesn't have a better stage to silence his critics (let's hope I just didn't jinx him). Hard fought game, ending with a 2-1 win for us.
  4. If I remember rightly, was it not Cousin who got McManus stretchered off not that long ago? I'll take that again this Sunday.
  5. Not a hope in hell Man utd have won 1 in 4 at fratton park and thats with Ronaldo 1-1 for me While I don't think it'll be as close as you think, I have to say that you have the coolest avatar, ever. I forgot Manucho could play. I'd like to see him get a run out.
  6. 3-0 Man Utd. Portsmouth looked shabby last week, although Chelsea looked brillant. With Tevez back, I think it'll be a comfortable win. They were poor last week and I'm sure SAF won't let them go a second week playing average football (in the league, that is).
  7. Thanks FC, I didn't know that. Good to hear he's going to be ok. Cracking young player.
  8. Haha, I had never heard that before (the interview, I mean). What happened to him? Why was he unconscious?
  9. They will have it so that a certain number of players from each nation have to be involved. They wouldn't be allowed to play the England team.
  10. Remember to take photos. I was considering it but skint as. Let's hope the weather's good.
  11. No, I don't think so. I read some article saying he hasn't but can't remember where I read it. Hearts, Zeta, QOS, all away.
  12. Unlucky to lose Zidan HSV, he looked very good in the pre-season tournament against Real Madrid and Arsenal. I liked Jol at Spurs but he must have gone insane since then, if he wants JVOH for £7M. Too insane I feel. Are we sure it was in pounds he bidded for him and not in magic beans?
  13. Just Joan? :barf: That's exactly the one. Great reading, often brings a tear to the eye. Not.
  14. I'd like to see him upfront too but I do think he'll be used wide left more often than not. I'm impressed by him so far and it was a great finish for his goal on Saturday. I'd love to see that team play next week and see how it fairs.
  15. The only reason I buy a paper is for the problem letters in the middle. They're classic. For Rangers news, I use News Now every day.
  16. I reckon we will get another CB but Broadfoot hasn't been too bad at that position. He's clearly more comfortable at CB, where he doesn't have to use his feet as often.
  17. I had Chookes 11 on my old shirt because I had a major F up the last time I got a name on the back. I was 13 or so and tried to get Lovenkrands on the back but it didn't fit so instead the idiot doing the names persuaded this idiot to go for Hughes 27 instead. Bah. Anyway, the main reason I replied was to ask how much are the strips selling for in JJB at the moment? I'm thinking of getting mine when I head back down to Glasgow.
  18. I would like to vote yes seeing as I'm finding it hard to see how he can possibly play some of these players out of position, unless he's gone completely mental. Bougherra will stay at CB and Mendes has to be in the middle of the midfield. Davis worries me because I fear (if he signs that is) that Walter may continue to waste him on the right, however better Steven being there than Lee. I'm hopeful that Walter won't continue with his playing of players out of position, although saying that would any of you be that surprised if Dailly started up front alongside Boyd this weekend? Ok, maybe that's taken it a bit too far.
