  1. And Burkeys the new Wullie Henderson I was watching The Entertainers dvd last week and Henderson was in it. What a talent he was. Burkey could do with watching some of his clips .
  2. Ha, you would never get that sort of banter in an OF game. And anyway, you would never see a Rangers player grope a Celtic player like that, in fear of what they might catch from them.
  3. I'd be raging if I was Richardson because there was no need for Chimbonda to do what he did. The ref saw argy-bargy before the free kick was taken so I don't know how Chimbonda thought he would get away with it. Cracking free kick (as was the one in the first half), that didn't need the wall to be moved for it to go in. Stupid by Pascal. Bullard was hilarious and it was good to see Chimbonda take it as banter. Ronaldo would have gone down needing a stretcher.
  4. It's the end of the night for Day !
  5. Pressure would spur him on or make him flop. He'd play a blinder or a horror. It's not a bad game to test how he'd react though.
  6. Yeah, I'd like to see that starting 11. I was thinking Boyd instead of Lafferty but I think Kyle deserves a shot up top. Beasley looked in good form for the national side.
  7. Who's a 'fud'? Jokes are meant to be funny! Bad jokes aren't .
  8. 6-0 vs. East Stirling was my highest scoring live match. I think the next biggest scoreline I've seen was my first game at Ibrox Haka in 99 3-0 and Aberdeen two seasons ago 3-0. I don't get too many home games and they're usually European ties with low scoring.
  9. My old man was about Allan's age when he met my mum who was 18. While I think his sleeping around is pathetic, the age gap is hardly worthy being labeled as being "scum". I was born as a result of their, apparently, "weird" relationship .
  10. Maybe they are too big for him. Is the kitman to blame for it? Maybe. Safety pins are needed.
  11. I think I'll get up for it. I got up for last week's at 5am so 7am will feel a little like a lie in. I hope Hamilton wins but I'm not too bothered. I just hope there's rain, always make it interesting.
  12. He's always played his socks off. It's just that his socks come off easier than most's.
  13. Stuttgart and Werder Bremen last season were incredible. Werder Bremen was the best atmosphere I had, personally, experienced. I had never seen the whole stadium do the bouncy until that night.
  14. I've paid a fiver to watch amateur football (final) before. Those prices, in comparison, don't seem too bad.
  15. Do you pay to watch the reserves play? Nope its hardly ever busy so the time to put people on the gates and stuff is pointless Excellent. I'll go watch sometime in the future. Watching the younger generation is more exciting than I thought it would be. The Under 19s I watched (who were actually Under17s) played some great football.
  16. Do you pay to watch the reserves play?
  17. RB: Dani Alves CB: Ferdiand I think both of them would fill those slots in my fantasy team.
  18. From the start I thought Boyd and Miller would make the best partnership and I thought that was what Miller was bought for. I thought that would become our national strikeforce too but now that looks hugely unlikely. I think it's time for JCD to move on. He was making good runs (that Miller can make) and his balls into the box (half the time they never got there) were aimed at Miller, whose not known for his aerial or physical presence. Miller making the runs and Boyd trying to get on the end of his crosses. Sounds tasty, IMO.
  19. I'll agree with never seeing him as prolific as he is just now. I've always thought that's what he majorly lacked, a cool head in front of goal. Last season I believe we were woeful but we seem to be correcting that this season. That "correction" appears to come in stages though (Celtic 2nd half, Aberdeen 1st half, possibly Kilmarnock 2nd half) were I've seen some of the best football Rangers have played in years. Just needing that consistancy now, which I hope will come soon.
  20. so were we, whats the point? So were we? As in last season, you mean? Or do you think we've been woeful at the start of this season? My point was that Derby were not a good footballing side. They struggled to make chances and we know Miller isn't the most clinical. Miller's getting a good few more chances this season because he's in a better team.
  21. Derby last season were a woeful football team though.
  22. What about the game against bottom place St Mirren where he didn't start and we scored none? He played, had quite a few chances, and failed to put them away. It's nothing personal against Boyd, but I'd rather have our team as a whole scoring 3-4 goals and winning games comfortably, rather than having Boyd score two and have us struggle. The way a lot of people talk in here it's like they'd rather just have Boyd score. Boyd comes on for 15 minutes and fails to put his chances away but you don't mention that who he replaced made no chances for himself even though he was on the park 5 times longer. That just confuses me. And if I remember rightly, he was inches away from equalising when our other attackers didn't get a sniff on goal.
