The season is long. Doesn't have enough quality for a Rangers starting midfielder. He's a tidy player with an excellent attitude but major limitations

A nothing player. Doesn't score or assist, isn't quick or good in the air. He gets by because he plays a simple pass and rarely loses the ball but in truth he doesn't influence the game and he's a centre mid. We need proper class in there.

Lafferty was a crazy signing. He has always been an immature waste of talent. And he's not good enough to get away with it. I didn't rate him before and I knew this one would be a waste of money. An awkward player, who can't head a ball despite his height, who falls over at the least contact and has the strength of a man half his size. A pea hearted waster. Barisic I think can play. I'm disappointed that hasn't worked out so far. If it's just injuries stick with and he can turn it around. If it's attitude or he feels like he's in the wrong movie then shift him quickly on. Grezda, who knows. He has pedigree as an international and was talked up by Panucci who was a player and a half. The manager doesn't seem to use him and hints at a poor attitude. He doesn't really seem to want to be here. I think he's a goner and the gaffer has made his mind up. Coulibaly, limited player. Not worth spending money on. Hasn't been playing having fallen down the ladder so won't be missed and doesn't really need replaced with so many similar players already here. No great issue with him, he seemed to try his best but looked an Angers player, not a Rangers player.

Fair enough, I don't think he's enough of an influence on games for a starting centre mid. He's average at everything so he gets by but in my opinion he is no more than a steady player. Reliable, tries his utmost but limited.

I think he would compliment Kamara quite well. Jack's our weak link

Morelos was our best player before he got banned. He's still our best player and btw he isn't sold yet, likely though it might be. I'd play him on the right of this narrow system in Candieas place with Defoe central. Rather than wrap him up to sell him if play him to show his ability and I'd try and talk him into one more season

Jack is a replaceable player. If there's an interest in him from England as rumoured Rossiter has a chance to take that role. He can also play deeper like Davis who is unlikely to manage 40-50 games next season. I'd keep Rossiter and I'd play him I can see a talent there that a functional player like Jack will never reach. Rossiter has only ever needed fitness and if he plays this season out and can be relied on he's a part of the team for me.

We aren't better because it's Defoe over Morelos. We are better because we have narrowed the forward 3. We are now playing a similar system to Liverpool, who you'd think Stevie G would be very familiar with. Should have done so a while ago because our wide men didn't score enough.

The wide men aren't so wide and support the striker better. Think Liverpool. Morelos could easily play inside right in this narrow 3 in place of Candeias if he stays. That's a goal threat

I worried his legs had gone. They haven't and his quality is still there. His quality and calmness will be important in Europe and against better teams when we don't have so much possession.

Both could adjust, but do they want to? If they have the heart I wouldn't mind them staying and proving themselves. My feeling from Gerrard's handling of then is that maybe they don't

That would depend what we sell them for. I wouldn't be surprised to see both away, the vibe from Gerrard is a frustrated one with both players. That said, I think Barisic has a lot of promise and I'd put his stop start time mainly down to injury. I'd probably persist with Barisic at least. I haven't seen enough of Grezda to really know what to make of him. He doesn't seem to have the managers confidence so I'd expect he might go.

Bring this back. Always quite liked it and doesn't God wear it well.
