  1. My dad shared a room in intensive care with Souness father after their heart ops. Souness came in and asked my dad how he was doing, "Not to bad, but dont pick me for the team!" says the old man. Get well soon Graeme.
  2. Its been Open Season on Rangers for so long, our detractors dont even realise how ridiculous they have become. Attacking Rangers is Scottish Footballs default position.
  3. I Still have black ash from Burnside reccies in my knees. Much worse is the memory of the mouldy making a pinging noise off my wee corn beef thigh when it was about -40 degrees, or the time I got it on the ear. -(cue Monty Python "Four Yorkshiremen")
  4. Bomber was a true Ranger Thanks Colin
  5. For the more important games I would always choose Miller
  6. lets stick together

  7. And another thing... He used to be called Comeofit He`s been honing his skills for a couple of years
  8. Sung to the tune "Rupert the Bear" Wee Tommy would run at full pelt with his feet at "ten to Two", and put the ball on a sixpence - which more often than not was located on big DJ`s forehead, which in turn was arriving at a great rate of knots at the far post... Superb crosser of the ball
  9. Jimmy Currie used to organise and lead tours to the Holy Land 2 or 3 times a year during the 80`s, I met him in Israel when I was working out there. When he arrived at our place with the coach (or coaches, his tours were always very popular) - he would dive off and kiss the ground wearing his Rangers scarf, dog collar and kilt. He would then beseech you on bended knee that him and his pilgrims be afforded shelter at this gaff - or words to that effect. His Tour Groups were always good fun and would organise the next lot to have someone bring you out any important stuff you might need - like Brut aftershave or 200 Regal. Rev. Currie was a larger than life character who never forgot a name and was genuinely funny. Prince or Pauper he was always the same, although some on his busses thought he was a better comic than tour guide.
  10. And any new money goes into the club A 51% stake in Rangers would cost £17,426,700
  11. In Lex McLeans day it was Mia Farrow
  12. Four of us did the old inter rail Grand Tour of Europe thing in 1980. We ended up in Greece but decided at the last minute to head for Stockholm for the Scotland World Cup Qualifier. 36 hours non stop we made the game with 20 minutes to go. On the way down to Greece before we thought about Sweden we were in Rome prior to jumpin a ferry from Brindisi. This Young Italian guy had a Rangers top on (Bobby Russell collar type) with a big gold crucifix round his neck As you can imagine this was quite an unusual sight in those days and it gave us a good laugh. Even more unusual in retrospect is the fact that we cheered Strachan when he scored for Scotland

  15. Force 12 - nothing can stop a hurricane
