So..
The wee man and I had a superb day. He was genuinely buzzing. Got his scarf, programme, spent a bit of time with Broxi et al in the fanzone and had a random photo with the bold Andy Cameron MBE in front of the main stand. He didn't have a clue what was going on when the game was on..kept asking where Broxi was..
Made it to 61 minutes then fell into the deepest sleep imaginable, slavers the lot. Gave him 10 minutes then dived off for the subway.
Lots of great photos taken aswell as a video of us hand in hand up the steps into the Copland Road for his first look. Priceless.
Cheers for the suggestions all.

Superb responses.
I like the carrot idea for the horses, also I wouldn't usually buy a programme but getting it and framing his stuff is a cracking idea. Pin badge too is a good one. Seeing the players or Sir Walter is a bit of a waste, he doesn't have a clue. I'd enjoy it though!
Might take him along to the fanzone aswell for a look.
Said to him this morning 'Where you going tomorrow' - his response with a smile was simply 'Ibrox'. Fully expecting to leave at 60 mins but I'm buzzing for the day.
We all remember our first trip, forever.

Taking my 3 year old son tomorrow for his first look at Ibrox.
Plan is; train in, some lunch, buy him first scarf then the game.
Any traditions anyone can pass on to make the experience as memorable as possible? (Appreciate its doubtful he will remember it when he grows up)

So...been told today that we will not be playing Sociedad at Almondvale now, they are playing Livingston instead. The story is we asked them for too much money to play us....I don't know how these things work. Livi were meant to be away to Albion Rovers that night but this has now been cancelled and they will fulfil the fixture with Sociedad. Sorry for getting it wrong. Tin hat on.

A friend with very close ties to Livingston.

Not sure if this is out there yet but we will play the Spanish mob at Almondvale on July 14th. Bizarre.

Yes tickets for the abandoned game are valid.....
I can't go now - anyone know if I will get my money back?

A half fit Roman Riquelme - miles ahead of everyone on the park.

Nice one. Send me a message with details off pick up please.
Cheers

As above - can collect from the ground or Falkirk surrounding areas.

Just ordered 3 tickets for myself, my daughter and nephew for the game. Can't wait to show the kids the magic of Ibrox.
I said i would collect the ticket on Saturday, the email says at least 2 hours prior to kick off.....does anyone know if that's just a guide? Does the ticket pick up close? Surely not.....I have never picked up on the day before.
I predict a 3-0 win. Boydy HAS to find the net eventually.....
WATP.

Worked it out....needed to log in forts to change it to child's ticket.
Leaving it a bit late for it to be posted and can't get through to pick up before Saturday so hopefully can buy on the day.
Cheers

Bears
Looking to bring my daughter and nephew along on Saturday against Raith & looking to take up the Family offer of £23 for the 3 of us.
When I try buy online it seems it only allows me to select adult tickets, even for Family stand - am I missing something?
Also, does anyone know if I will be able to get tickets at Ibrox right up to kick off?
Cheers

I believe we can do it - however I think the likely result for me is a draw. Rangers have drifted to 11/4 now which IMO is too big. We are poor, very poor, but United are FOURTH in the SPL & only 2 points ahead of ICT. Wee bit of perspective needed by all.
First goal is huge.
On a side note, Wallace and Bell being out might be blessing in disguise. Smith SHOULD get moved to left back and as average as he is might mean McCoist is forced to start Gallacher on the right with Aird on the left giving us more bite. Also firmly believe Bell is stuck to his line too much and Simmo might just prove to be a better presence....there are games throughout history where a Goalie has came in from the cold & been MOTM. I remember Ronald the Dutch goalie at the piggary playing outstanding...
Believe, we are Rangers.
