  1. Some of the suggestions in this thread are fucking comedy gold honestly
  2. Had mine since the day it came out. Wash it 2, sometimes 3 times a week cos I wear it to fives etc. and my logo is still fine
  3. Aye, I'd also take Messi if we were offered him. Neither will ever happen though.
  4. Still can't do much for a player's confidence having little or no support to cheer them on.
  5. I'd imagine the pressure of knowing they'd be the first team ever to retain it would be a factor in them failing to do so. Plus they instantly become the team to beat for next season as soon as they win it so maybe the other teams raise their game when they face them. I mean who doesn't want to be the ones to knock out the defending champs?
  6. Tedious shite. Remember the last away game our fans wanted to boycott? Pumped out the Scottish Cup by Dundee United. The team needs support.
  7. Doesn't count towards a 6th star, that record is for being champions of scotland so it's top flight titles only.
  8. The fact so many see it as a choice between staying unbeaten or playing the youngsters says enough really. If playing them means we lose games then they're not ready to play yet.
  9. I'd hope, HOPE, the coaching staff have an idea of who is capable of performing in the first team and who isn't. The sink or swim mentality doesn't work for me. Throwing youngsters in just for the sake of it could do more harm than good, if one of these young boys gets put in for a game and has an absolute howler that could be difficult to recover from. Especially if it were to cost us out unbeaten record.
  10. 75% of the teams in the last 16 of the champions league use zonal marking so we should? No thanks. Don't think we've got a talented enough squad or coaching setup to be even thinking about things like zonal marking tbh.
  11. Did you actually read what I said there or just see the first sentence and dive right in? I said APART from trying to put a positive spin on the Albion Rovers result and the bit about Man City he's said nothing wrong. I'm pretty sure that would cover saying we drew against a team who were above us last season.
  12. Never implied he said it at all, if I wanted to do that I'd have put the title as a quote... I didn't though. You misinterpreted it and dived in defending him. Did you see the interview and what did you make of it?
  13. Nothing there to go ape shit about. I don't like trying to put a positive spin on the Albion Rovers result cos it was embarrassing and he should admit it. Other than that, and the Man City bit, he's not said anything wrong.
  14. Not at all. If people like yourself could tell the difference between a headline and a direct quote then there would be no need for me to explain.
  15. Brilliant the amount of people on here defending McCoist purely because the headline is supposedly inaccurate. The headline is not a quote, I didn't claim it was a quote, and at no point in any of my posts did I say he used those words. The burd on the news used those words before showing us the interview and that's why it's in the headline title. Still though, if you watched that interview and were satisfied with what you heard then misinterpreting a headline title on an Internet forum is the least of your problems. Blind loyalty at it's finest.
  16. As I said it's just my opinion. You think playing in a higher league at a higher tempo should make cup ties against Lower league teams straight forward and I think it actually makes it more difficult. The results in the cup this season support my theory.
  17. Playing in a higher league in games at a higher tempo means one off games against lower league sides are something out of the ordinary for them and means more chance of a shock. Us being in a league playing them week in week out should mean we know what to expect from them. And given the far superior squad we have should be beating them accordingly. Just my opinion on that particular debate.
  18. Think they did and Southend fucked it up for him.
  19. So saying we shouldn't be judging the team the way we used to because we don't have the same quality of player but then saying in the next breath that our expectations of the team shouldn't change isn't contradictory? Wake up man.
  20. He did say that yes, and IMO it completely contradicts the other quote that's been posted. Making a fool of himself with these interviews.
