  1. Ally McCoist is not daft, he watches plenty football, has many friends and links around Britain and the world. Having no scouting network is a complete and utter disgrace but it's no excuse for chasing Kenny Miller. Possibly heading into seasons 2014/15 then 2015/16 with Miller and Boyd up front. FFS, that was a good partnership 6 years ago. McCoist is killing the football side of our club, absolutely ruining it. The man that replaces him is going to have one hell of a renovation job on his hands.
  2. As predictable as ever. The manager going back for an ex player, one of his mates instead of looking to the future. Kenny Miller had scored a pitiful 15 goals in the last three seasons. The pace he once had is no longer there. He will be 35 this year. McCoist should be removed from his position before he wastes more valuable wages/money. It's 2014 - McCoist is still stuck in 2008.
  3. Cierzniak, Wilson, Souttar, Gunning, Paton, Rankin, Gauld, Robertson, Armstrong, Ciftci, Mackay-Steven
  4. Today's 11. Simonsen, Foster, McCulloch, Mohsni, Smith, Peralta, Black, Law, Aird, Shiels, Daly.
  5. Fraser Aird. Plays with confidence every game. That's what you want. Seb Faure - you would be better with a kinder egg toy.
  6. Dropped to the bench a week before a final. "You have had a run out, not guaranteed a game, prove your worth if off the bench, in training" Also, u-20's have a big game against the bheggars. Impress. "There's your reward" place in the starting 11 in a cup final. Good management.
  7. Our history is littered with trophies. It is one of the many reasons as to why we are the greatest club in the world. No trophy is meaningless.
  8. Gutter rhag. Ally McCoist last night declared that anything less than Rangers challenging for the Premiership title in season 2015-16 will be unacceptable. Completely agree with what he said in his interview.
  9. Lee Wallace. Fraser Aird. Young Aird has certainly improved. Love his attitude, love the fact he never hides, head never drops.
  10. The day we worry about Raith Rovers or Dundee United is the day we should pack it all in.
  11. He's not very good so I am not bothered in the slightest should Black fail to make the Ramsden or Scottish. A certainty to get dominated and sent of against Dundee Utd, again.
  12. Unbeaten in the league, Ramsden Cup and Scottish Cup. Now, that would be some record!
  13. Yes. Both produced on the European scene. Willie Waddell gave us our greatest ever European moment - Barcelona 1972.
  14. Walter Smith also took average, unfashionable players and made them reliable, Champions. In all our years, under numerous managers, The Rangers have been a disappointment in European competitions.
  15. When Albion park the bus we have to change our tactics. Long balls to the isolated Jon Daly play right into their hands.
  16. A disgusting club. Get the required result on Monday night then go through this lot like nothing before.
  17. With the current squad at our disposal I think we will win the league next season under Ally McCoist. Will it be pretty, no, not a chance. Where we are now is exactly the opposite of where I thought we would be come the start of this journey. We have missed an opportunity. Will Ally McCoist be good enough for the Scottish Premiership. I very much doubt it. Our management team isn't good enough. Ally McCoist with a cheque book is a very scary thought. Alistair McCoist the player, man, club legend and manager are two completely different things. A massive season for him next season. Let's see how he gets on. With or without any signings the current squad should seal the Championship.
  18. Would love to see Ian Black at Blackpool.
  19. He had absolutely no service. Off the ball he worked hard, dropped deep and out wide to pick up the ball. He won numerous fouls and played some good balls. Since signing for the club he's been given very little service even when up front with Daly. For some reason our strike partners are always too far apart. They need to get closer.
  20. Very little I would imagine. Maybe the money saved on players we move on in the summer. Cribari, Simonsen, Little, Perry, Hegarty, Hutton, possibly Peralta if we can move him on. Looking at that, everyone of the above are out of contract bar Peralta so we won't get a transfer fee. Another season of freebies and low quality signings. Exactly what we do not require.
  21. Joined Lekhwiya on a four year deal. Safe to say there is no chance of Vladimir Weiss coming back to Rangers any time soon.
  22. I thought McCulloch looked shattered today and did not play well at all. I wouldn't have Daly or McCulloch up front, it's too predictable. Albion Rovers will sit deep, expect the long ball, a physical battle. Get the ball down, pass, move, raise the tempo, drive them out of position, cut them open. Chances and numerous ones at that will be created and with the likes of Clark, Shiels and Law we know where the net is. Or, we could match up to the opposition and play the way they expect us to.
