  1. your right mate our fans wont like it at all. but the thing is if we keep trying to find gems in secret that nobody nose about we could rly end up with this 3 more times. i cant stand it. i dont mind being second right now. i no i will get murdered for that but im just being honest. i just dont want to feel embarrassed and sad about the team what i mean by strong stable is like - organised bplayers who no what they are doing who are really fit and work really hard. straight forwards tactics the players can for sure buy into like pressing fighting chasing. guys in the stand love this stuff. fighting. h onest. all that. instead of clever clver. instead of tactical visions & that. if our playres this team right now no additions are organised real fit believe in a manager telling them simple things we could be something 2 be proud of again i feel. ok timing the punt on soemething else would be hard to get right i know that. but i just think get tommy right in and hell get those players working hard and organised and like not a shambles. and he wont pick players cos of politics or dressing room. get a team out there that can be organised and win as many points as possible. proud fighting for the shirt being positive but not clever. just being like strong for each other. im n ot very good at typing or explaingin so i shouldnt make posts like this but its rly how i feel. just want to feel proud of the team on match day again mate. that will do me for now. your right about guys flipping out if were not champions. but thats not me.
  2. its like when we signed kranjcar. because of money we have to take a chance to land something special (didnt work out with him). anyway thats the attitude with him. thats why. we cant go and sign ronald de boar or ricksen no more. its not so bad as it sounds. they do it to. like gordon who was injured all the time. theres no money no more. the thing is tho we shouldnt be doing that with the manager. no need to take a chance there to get like someone well special at this time who nobody else nose about. what we should do is just get someone v v solid in who can get best out of what we have which means second plus cup run. guys who can deliver that are like tommy right at stjohnstone. he could come and get the best out of our players and make us second and a cup run. and the thing is its not forever. just need to be stable and solid and strong and not weak like this unorganised and that. we can be a good club for a while a safe club then get things stable then get a real good manager in in 4 or 5 yrs or whatever. will get slagged but its true.
  3. well i cant wait for the new one. honest to god i feel like its therapy to make the team great again. for real. it makes me feel better.
  4. We should be second and in about the cups. if we dont do no cup challenge at all and finished second id not b happy. but if we get a run to a final and come second id be ok with that personally. i think what people dread is that they will finish way ahead of us and then we have to hear it all season and all summer. but thats just the way it is for a while. if he goes away then we should close it up a bit.
  5. i maybe agree with that. pedros obviously no clue but there was a feeling like they were at the trough when ali was there
  6. yeah john barnes that was really funny. also funny was tony mowbury. he was more funny in a lot of ways because he looked like such a monger.
  7. tommy right all the way. people talk about stability like it means winning trophis sometimes and it kind of is for us but thats not what well get unless we get fucking. conte. right would get the best out of what weve got and make it so we can just not be a laughing stock while we get sorted for a couple of seasons. im sick of worrying about money all the time. like really worrying about it.
  8. if he would resign i'd be so happy. we don't have to give him anything then do we
  9. i think i agree with that. its no fun sacking managers all the time and then having to pay them to go away. it keeps me awake at night.
  10. all i do now is worry about money its like fucking real life
  11. i don't understand it at all our players are better than their players but it just doesn't happen that's got to be the managers fault for sure. but then its the money thing and do you want to sack someone who might catch on.
  12. i'm working what happened with the sending off
  13. Pretty good i think. shame to see Murray get such a kicking but someone has to swing i guess?
  14. DK did release a statement https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/dave-king-message THIS statement is made in my capacity as a former director and shareholder of Oldco to provide supporters with the true position following the final tax ruling and to correct any false impression created by David Murray’s conflicting evidence in the Craig Whyte trial. It is unfortunate that we have already witnessed typical bouts of hysterical reporting from certain sections of the media and we should continue to ignore those responsible by boycotting their publications and outlets. The Celtic board issued a statement agitating for a re-opening and reversal of the decisions previously made when, in fact, nothing has changed. It is disappointing that they have attempted to influence the footballing authorities to alter its historic football honours by calling on administrators and lawyers to achieve off the pitch what its teams failed to do on the pitch. As an investor and board member during the period of the so-called benefit I can categorically assure all supporters that the Club received no benefit whatsoever. The opposite is true as the effect on the Club was wholly negative. It was charged huge sums for advice from other Murray Group entities and it bore the consequences when that advice proved inadequate. Every single player that was signed during that period would have been signed whether the Murray Group tax scheme was in place or not. The real beneficiary was the Murray Group. All board members were aware during that period that we were often deliberately spending more than we earned and this was reported in the annual financial statements. The cash needed to fund any shortfall came from share placements, shareholder loans, and third-party bank finance. As David Murray was personally dealing with transfer expenditure, I sought assurances in a board meeting each year that he would stand behind any deficit that could not be immediately funded if he over extended in the transfer market. He gave these assurances and he honoured them until the Murray Group got into financial difficulty. Put simply, the Murray Group tax scheme helped David Murray reduce his overall investment into Oldco while simultaneously reducing any reliance on increased third-party bank finance. The benefit went exclusively to David Murray and the Murray Group. Whether the scheme was in place or not, or whether it survived tax scrutiny or not, made no difference whatsoever to the playing squad of the Club during that period and hence had no impact on the performance on the pitch. We won all of our titles fair and square. A good analogy of what happened at the time is the present position following regime change. As we rebuild the squad we are deliberately and transparently spending beyond our income. Once we commit to expenditure it is my job to secure the required funding. If I create a scheme (as David Murray thought he had) that reduced the amount of cash needed to support the Club then I would save on my required investment – but the Club and the player squad would be exactly the same. For the avoidance of doubt, I am not looking at such a scheme. Given the negative consequences for the Club of such financial engineering in the past, I cannot conceive of any circumstances in which that might change. While I am Chairman, Rangers’ overspending will always be on a sustainable and robust basis and one that safeguards the future of our Club. It is reassuring to note that the SFA promptly and correctly put out a statement confirming, against Celtic’s attempt to influence, that the final tax ruling has no impact whatsoever on the practical and legal findings already made. This is now another matter that we can finally put behind us.
  15. oh sorry yes. sorry boys i misunderstood. sorry.
  16. theres still loads and loads of people interested in this job. barry ferguson was talking about it on sportsound. he says people will be interested because its rangers. its still the second best paid job in the division. we could get tommy wright. dont really think he's getting linked a lot? but we're better than st.johnstone football wise better budget bigger club and plus the only way is up. a new manager wouldn't even have to do THAT good to get some time.
  17. We should drop most of those guys and play other players even if it costs us imo.
  18. I know i'll get killed for this but i think after the split we should just bin these guys off and let loads of kids play. I know that we'll probably finish fifth or sixth if we do that but it's a few games for these youngsters to shine. Maybe 1 or 2 that can start next season or be on the bench next season. yeah? i know we have to go for europe but i just think how would we even qualify for europe anyway? is it not 4 ties to qualify for uefa cup now? I just personally think that theres no point playing these players. i dont think there's any point in it at all. whats the point? everyone just feels bad. play the kids. maybe theres a star of the future that wouldnt even emerge otherwise small chance but what's the difference? we could even do it now and see how we get on. that's what i would like to do anyway. i guess everyone's different i know most people will disagree.
