I’m one of the last to have a go at any of our players but Borna has been truly awful at times .Taking a pass on the left moving forward 5 yards ,Not trying anything and passing it back .Sometimes all the way back takes any sting out of our attacking play altogether .Defensively missing twice already this year both goals lost in open play .That’s not good enough .

It’s the constant changes that’s the problem .Too much being changed to suit VAR .The playing on till play stops after a blatant offside is my biggest bugbear ,At some point a player will get injured in a passage of play that should already have been stopped .

I’m a firm believer in you make your own luck .Doesn’t always work that way .But look at last season when we did get a couple of 50/50s in the EL .We we’re playing with far more urgency than last night . Saying that though ,The VAR decision wasn’t bad luck ,It was professional refs not knowing the rules .That’s just incompetence.

In his first season when he was poor there were a few who backed him ,I was one .After that game at the piggery that was it for me .One thing a pro player can’t get away with is being afraid to do things .With him it’s everything.Scared to go near players ,Scared to go past players .Plays the safe pass every time ,losing any impetus for the whole team .
