  1. Mo Edu's last minute winner is the one that really sticks out in the mind just for the sheer elation more than anything. The 4-2 win in 99 when albertz won a penalty whilst also knocking out lambert's teeth was a belter too.
  2. Lets have one big thread titled "It's all shite" containing all moaning concering board, manager, coaching staff, players etc. Then lets have another big thread titled "It's all fine" containing all rose tinted spec posts concering board, manager, coaching staff, players etc. Then you choose which side you belong in Or we can stop arguing among ourselves and unite for Saturday to support the club and everyone at it 100% for a huge game (might not be huge with regards to the title but who knows a morale deflating loss for them might just cause them to come off the rails a bit).
  3. Second will never be acceptable but to expect to be top of the league when you compare the squads in terms of wages and transfer outlay (as well as squad stability) it was obviously going to be a tall ask for us even if half of our 11 summer signings had been great buys. It's a case of it will have to do this year but if there are no improvements between January and the end of the year even if we finish second I'd say that Warburton should be leaving of his own accord. We need to see the foundations are there for a proper challenge next season i.e. comfortable and consistently beating the teams below us.
  4. Learning and gelling as a team suggests he sees this squad as being the long term squad Hope to fuck this is just a little sound bite and we have targets for January that can make a real difference.
  5. I hate to say it but Garner would have suited McCoists style of play. Long ball with 2 up top, just look at our first game in division 3: The knock on and Mckay running beyond the striker at pace to get the goal. We either need 2 up top with Garner or we need midfielders making runs like the one above. I don't think we will get either.
  6. I think the biggest problem we have is playing away from home against teams that get everyone back behind the ball. We don't have the quality to break these teams down. McKay tried tonight but even when he did get space there was fuck all in the box. We are too predictable therefore easy to play against, when we score first other teams have to either accept a 1-0 defeat or open up and then (provided we don't fuck up and gift them a goal) we get more space to score more. We seem bereft of confidence away from home and there is definitely a lack of steel in the team. For me the best way out of this predicament without having money is to vary things before and during the game making it difficult/impossible to tell how we are going to line up or how we will play. The trouble is under Warburton we are shoe horned as a possession based playing from the back working the ball into the box type team. Yes there have been some minor alterations (going long sometimes) in the past month but at the heart of how we play we are predictable. The big question for me now is whether its Warburton's stubbornness or tactical naivety that is stopping him from varying things up drastically.
  7. Very true. This place is always at opposite ends of the overreaction spectrum! I like to think I'm somewhere in the middle. On paper they should win but we've pulled performances out of the bag before and there's always that chance at a deafening Ibrox that we can do it again. Just think back to the first Old Firm game under Smith's second reign with Ehiogu's overhead kick winner. Who the fuck saw that one coming? Just because they have the form going into this doesn't give them the 3 points before the game kicks off.
  8. A lot of defeatist shite on here, beaten before a ball is fucking kicked.
  9. Sounds like a shite christmas chocolate
  10. For anyone that plays a dangerous ball into the box only to see not one of your own players in there must be so frustrating. I'd love to know if Garner is being told to drop deeper and play more like a defensive forward and target man. I honestly feel 2 up top is the only way we are going to see at least one striker in the box when these crosses come in. When Garner wins his flick ons there would be someone playing off his shoulder as it seems our midfielders aren't going to do this. As much as I can't stand the fucker Jason Cummings would probably have worked quite well alongside Garner.
  11. This for me all day. Even if the players couldn't lift themselves or motivate themselves after the goal the management should be able to evoke a reaction from the players with their team talk but it just didn't happen. Hate to say it but I have a feeling that Warburton is too respectful to the players and isn't capable of giving them a complete bollocking. Granted there are times when words of encouragement will do but most of the best teams of the past decades have had a stern leader that knew when to roast the players.
  12. If Kiernan made that mistake but the other 10 players were on their game tonight we'd have waltzed the game 3 or 4 goals to 1. The thing that cost us the game was the lack of passion, desire, fight and anything resembling a backbone.
  13. Aye mate, no surrender and all that eh? If we expect the players to show fight and determination and not just give up when things aren't going well then for fucks sake we need to do the same. Get Ibrox as loud as it can possibly be, let those fuckers know we are back, our players will respond to it. We need to get us 1-0 up before kick off.
  14. Exactly this. We all saw how we played, we got the goal and we were well on our way until we shot our fucking whole leg off never mind a shot in the foot! Silly mistakes aren't just costing us goals the heads drop and thats why we stop playing. People are very quick to say players are shite but we can outplay the guff around us when it comes together like it did against the sheep and hearts. My only hope is they get their heads straight for Saturday and cut out the stupid mistakes.
  15. I don't buy the stuff about Saturday. Ibrox will be fucking jumping and we will be baying for blood, no fucking chance we'll be this spineless come Saturday.
  16. Tonight shows its all in the head. We had them on the ropes and we gifted them a goal and collapse again. All that promise from the Aberdeen and Hearts games gone in the following two games
  17. He possibly doesn't want to play on Saturday, doing a Senderos
  18. I'd lock your windows and throw the key away. He'll stick with the same eleven. If he can get their heads straight we've got them on the ropes but its a big if.
  19. St Johnstone are matching our formation now, I think we should change shape by bringing Kiernan off, getting Hodson on and rip them a new one
  20. Bringing on a defender is now a positive sub? What the fuck are these pair of clowns on about?
  21. They are pish. Get our heads right at half time and we'll do them over as long as we don't gift them anything else at the back
  22. To the neutral they must be thinking what the fuck? Its absolutely pathetic how see through it is
  23. Instead of getting a bit of daylight scoreline wise we gift yet another goal. We must be the worst in the league for this.
  24. "might be dangerous to an opposition player......but its early in the game yet" Get to fuck Butcher, it doesn't matter if its 1 second in or in the last minute, dangerous play deserves a booking.
