  1. Massive save from Hart there . Doesn’t change the fact it has been same old problems. Big players not showing up against them. Time after time. Clement has been great but I stand by what I said before kick off. Totally wrong selection of some players today and he has to take some of the blame for that too. Massive 2nd half of football. Big test of mentality and our credentials.
  2. Poor work rate and mentally weak. Story of the first half. The old habits rear their head just when we needed them gone.
  3. I actually think the key today is just not standing off them like Beale did. We attack them and have a high tempo we are in a strong position.
  4. I’m not sure the original poster is wrong. It is a one of our weakest areas of the park. There is lot of love for McAusland as he’s one of us. He’s a decent footballer but aside from the first few matches when he broke into the side I don’t think he’s offered much in honesty. He’s young and deserves time to improve though.
  5. Wright in that side gives me the fear. Seen this too many times before. Don’t understand his inclusion on any level here.
  6. Agree. Deluded sheep on Sportsound the other day making out it is one of the big jobs in British football. How long can they hang on to the success they had under Ferguson and the gradual decline after? Horrid fans who hardly attend, horrid city, no money. Who would go there.
  7. Typical hopeless Sportsound interview with the manager completely failing to ask him about Tav.
  8. Outwardly people who didn't see that game will think he was fair as we got the penalty. But he was pretty much forced to give us that by VAR. As poor a performance by an official as i've seen. No protection at all for our players.
  9. After that from the supporters if I was a proper Rangers man in that squad I would withdraw myself from selection. It might be an overreaction but a light needs shone on lots of the scum that follow the national team. It is under a divided separatist banner, nothing else. What the SNP have done to the country is manifest in that. I wouldn’t expect a nation to boo any anthem but I honestly found that appalling. How can any Rangers fan sit amongst support doing that. We all love our country but the whole thing has been hijacked. I remember when we all got behind the national side, but I really struggle to get behind them. Other countries unify under their flag. The SNP have used it to divide us. And I don’t like that I’ve been put in that position as a Scot.
  10. I agree. I don’t think he has a future with us. I don’t dislike his attitude and there is no doubt he chipped in during his time here but even prior to his injury he wasn’t kicking on the way we would have hoped. He has bulked up a bit but still lacks a lot of pace. Better suited for a slower paced league.
  11. There is no justification at all in the current climate to offer him an extention. Nothing against him personally. Done well for us in patches but he is not capable of staying fit and is on high wages with low sell on value. Better to free them up and move forward with a better trading model. Was a gamble that paid off for a period but has been a busted flush in last 18 months.
  12. He's clearly a very good player and improves us in forward areas. I still don't see him as the prolific striker we need though.
  13. Agree. Beale standing us off them at Ibrox is probably the angriest I’ve ever been supporting us in recent years. And that’s saying something.
  14. Totally. The same way good players attract fouls, good teams attract bad challenges. Couple that with the strategy of most Scottish teams being to stop us you need to kick us and a side tonight that totally lost the head. None of the reds tonight were questionable. The only questionable thing was why he was still on the park after pushing an injured Rangers player and staff while on a yellow. The constant big bad Rangers narrative from the likes of Stewart is pathetic.
  15. 100% we are refereed to a different standard. Have no idea why he's not walked for that.
  16. I think the constant injuries are the main issue going into the business end
  17. That midfield is just unreal. Odd seeing us with 3 at the back as I’ve never seen a Rangers side that way. Given the amount of attacking ability in that midfield I’d not have another attacking midfielder so I’d replace Durrant and have Hateley and McCoist upfront. I didn’t ever see DJ play but for all he was a great finisher the videos I’ve seen I don’t think he necessarily had the pace and work rate to work as a lone striker.
  18. It has received surprisingly little press that a player has effectively been constructively forced out of a club because of his religion. Their supporters won’t see any irony in this at all. No idea how they managed to get him to agree to that nonsense statement and get that much money for him.
  19. They look very poor without McGregor.
  20. I don’t think many are saying that. Lots of football to play. There is quite rightly frustration that after such a great effort to overturn their lead and go top we manage to be so shocking at home and potentially surrender that lead after 2 weeks only.
