The club won’t be allowed to discuss it, as it’s part of confidential disciplinary procedures. I don’t see why the players can’t, particularly Miller, as he’s no longer an employee.

Give him fuckin time. Keef will be drafting tomorrows scoop right now.

Shocked but you can bet we are marked now and there will be a player called up soon enough for a ban.

Agree. Theres no benefit for them banning our keeper for home games against Dundee, St J and Ayr.

They're keeping  their  powder  dry. Wankers.

Im going to put that result down to 2 things.

Gerrard got his tactics wrong. We should have been into these cunts from the first whistle, instead of sitting off and allowing them to grow in confidence. We gave them FAR too much respect at a time when we could have had them on the ropes mentally.

Heavy legs. You cant deny that Thursday night took a hell of a lot out of our players. Prevented us from having a real go at the scum in that second half.

Think back to wee Dick Advocaat's first old firm game. We got a hammering because none of our new players had been blooded in an Old Firm Game.

Now this squad had experienced that, I'm thinking the next one at Ibrox will be dIfferent.

Having had time to reflect after the game and deal with the disappointment there a a couple of things that come to mind. I feel we lost the game for two reasons ,the first is the tactics were wrong- we should have been more positive ,the second is that we did not have the normal amount of energy due to the travels. The manager I think will learn and by the next game hopefully we will have a more players fit ,the newer players well integrated and have a stronger bench. Still feel positive about the season but will always hate losing to celtic .

I posted the exact same thing as you just after the game on Sunday.

Its still clear as day to me that those are the 2 main, huge reasons we were so much off the pace against them.

I'm 100% convinced, regardless what SG has said in pressers and interviews, that we wont set up that way to play the scum again.

How could we take the game to them when we couldn't even take the ball off them?

    Are you serious?

Surely taking the game to them means closing them down to win possession and attacking more.

Then we have more of the ball, and they have less.

Its how we should have started the game.

Think your second point contradicts your first.

If we'd been into them from the start we'd likely have burnt out long before the game ended.

Why, chasing the baw is the most tiring part of a game.

If we'd taken the game to them early doors we could have taken the lead. Knocked the confidence out of them and kept them on the back foot.

I posted a thread about Gerrards tactics and getting slated.

We all know he got his tactics wrong. But i forgot about Advocaats first game.

Season isnt over... and Il be glad to bump this thread in May when we win

We won a treble in Advocaats first season. After losing the first old firm game heavily.  (4 or 5 nil I think)

Gerrard will learn quickly and he will  get this squad playing the best football in the league.  I have confidence in that
