This squad will win the league comfortably but in terms of long term progression we are badly in need of a holding midfielder and prolific goalscorer. Halliday is more than decent but he got found out trying to play that role today against higher quality opposition.

Would love to see another striker join if Hardie isn't going to feature this year. To be honest though, that squad will romp the league and even take us extremely far in the Scottish Cup and League Cup. If we don't spend any more it means a bigger budget for when we're back next season.

Can't understand the criticism towards McKay. I've been impressed with him under Warburton thus far. Of course he needs to progress and show more to be a nailed on regular but you could probably say that about every single player that has been involved so far. Back to the OP's initial question, been absolutely delighted with the start and the brand of football. Most excited I've been about the start of a league season in a long, long time.
