Windass had the draw in the bag last minute but sadly Morelos kicked it back oot from 1 fuc*ing yard.

True mate was a brilliant drive into the box and he got a great shot away! but we cant have players on the park who disappear for so long in big games.

Not even going to talk about Morelos till I've calmed down a bit.

  2. 3 wins against aberdeen, wins against hearts and hibs and a draw against them. Imagine Pedro or Warburton had managed that? Let's get some consistency against the smaller teams and well get somewhere.

Walter was good in his time. I would agree with you more  if we had a seen a lot more of his input and advice to his personal student of many years Ally showing through. Football has moved on, it's faster and more tactical now.

I do get where your coming from mate but I think Walter's best attribute was his man management skills and I don't think that's something you can teach.

You can either get a reaction from your players or you can't and no amount of phone calls to the big man would have helped Ally imo.

limited resources, you do realise he spent more on jelavic than warburton has been given on fees for hiw whole squad

walter was a cracking organiser, but he was also a chequebook manager,

Fair play I was more comparing his resources to the decade before but your right limited resources was the wrong phrase to use. Sometimes blinded by my respect for the man and I'm not at all comparing his situation to Warburton's.

I know that Smith also had an eye for a loan or a free transfer though which would be handy in our current situation.

You mean the Walter Smith, the master tactician of defensive unattractive football  who mentored Ally and was probably just a phone call away the whole time Ally was in charge and whose tactics and knowledge are from a different era 20-30 years ago when you could buy big, and boss games in Scotland with attitude and expensive players only, with no great attention to the technicalities and the fitness displayed by much faster modern teams ?

    Okay then...............

I think he means the Walter Smith who won the league in the last decade with limited resources , who took us to a European final within the last decade and who deserves more respect than your comment shows.

    What did that one say?

'Apologising doesn't always mean that you're wrong and the other person is right. It means you value your relationship more than your ego'

Think he shoulda just stuck with the apology.

  7. Before taig game.

Talksport - Unbeaten. Good start to the season.

Scottish media - Draw with kilmarnock. Not good enough. Poor start.

I can see why you prefer the positive spin Mr Warburton but for once I'd suggest the Scottish version of events more accurately reflects the opinion of the fans.

You can't choose how the media report on you but you can focus on delivering results that will force positive press. I understand we will still have to deal with bullshit negative press for non football related things but don't give them that extra ammunition.

Naivety showing once more. Although that aside I thought he spoke well.

Bartons been fucking class! Lost one tackle all game!!!

Krancjar has been decent but if he stays on hes gona get sent off

He's given the ball away a few times and put us under real pressure! Along with his ridiculous pass back to Fod in the box I can't give him pass marks on the back of two good challenges.
