The war of words started a long time ago mate...and not just with "another team"....we're talking about taigs, apologists and handwringers, all in key positions of power, in every field in this country of ours....all viewing us as the enemy, who can't get over the fact that we're alive and coming to get them! We want our Board to grow a spine and, in a not fucking about sort of way, speak up for us..mercilessly identify and call out our detractors at EVERY turn, banning orders meted out...otherwise, continue to do what we've been doing up until this point, and submit to an utterly intolerable set of affairs which, let's be honest, wouldn't be tolerated ANYWHERE else!!

Club statement was weak and two days too late! Is it beyond our Club to put out a strong and to the point statement on the day of the game?! Seems to me it's a feeble, half-hearted attempt to deflect the ire we feel towards the board regarding lack of investment in the team and MW's and DW's selection, strategy and tactics naivety! They seem to think that if they publicly back the fans we'll forget all about this humiliating defeat and the mistakes that made such a disgusting scoreline against the vilest of scum possible! Don't get me wrong, we want the board to back us and go on the offensive against these utter cunts but it's GOT to be measured, to the point and be designed to mete out maximum damage....and in such a way as to debunk the carefully crafted lies that are thrown our way with the clear and devious purpose of attempting to 'even up the scores' by ensuring we look as bad as them! The Board should have highlighted the fact that, whilst condemning the toilet trashing, Ibrox is often similarly vandalised by the scum when at our premises and, in fact, we had to take action previously for vandalism at our place! Why has the media only highlighted damage at torbett's lair? Simple, they realised that there was going to be condemnation coming to their 'favourites'....and, predictably, they throw in TBB for some dramatic effect! The Board should have told the truth about what the 'dolls' actually signified...that is, that they represented the murder of Orange Order member(s) and Rangers fan(s)! They represented assassinations, complete with hands tied behind the back!! They should have explained that this is a horrible and criminal act reminiscent of the 'lynchings' of black people in the relatively recent past in the USA's deep south!! It should also have been pointed out that we demand these acts should be dealt with rigorously by the police, courts and at government level and that we're well aware that if Rangers fans did the same then there would undoubtedly be a national outcry!! We DEMAND parity!! Their banners in support of a proscribed terrorist organisation, calling us h*n scum, the use of the disgusting acronym KAH...should all have been individually highlighted and questions asked as to why these terms are all deemed acceptable when it comes from other communities but when Rangers fans sing a song they get jailed for 4 months!! Let's be clear though, most of us aren't offended by this trash...we are, however, deeply offended by the campaign to tarnish us and our Club whilst turning a blind eye to the actions of others...which is, I'd contend, much, much worse!! Get the finger out King, and DEMAND parity for our Club and its People..nothing less will do!!!

Barton was far from the only abject failure today. However, being our most high profile signing this preseason allied to the fact that he, let's say, likes to publicly air his views, he's bound to come under intense scrutiny...as is MW for his recent signing policy. Barton could still go on to have a good Rangers career but it has to be said, on the evidence since he signed, that's increasingly looking like a forlorn hope, and it's desperately disappointing! He's massively off the pace for the simple fact that he's not fit/match fit and his football brain and class can't show through as a consequence! Is that because he's in the twilight of his career or down to a flaw in our (last season highly regarded) sports science led, fitness regime? Only time will tell and the hope is that he can go on to redeem himself and have a good, influential season. For me, and others have said it, this runs much much deeper! King and co have absolutely underestimated the level of investment required to build a squad to challenge the taigs! Resultantly, MW has had to abandon, to an extent, some of what makes up his overall footballing philosophy! For example, Warburton has stated that he wanted a young, dynamic, lean squad of players with a couple (which we already had) of 'older, more experienced heads'...abandoned!!...for Kranjcar, Hill, Senderos, and Barton! I'm sure he genuinely thought these guys would add value (not financially)...and maybe they still will but if he had a good budget, would he have went for these guys? I don't think so, personally. The whole signing policy smacks of desperation in hindsight. Mistakes have consequences and with Barton, Kranjcar and Senderos being so high profile, with egos to match, Warburton must have felt compelled to start them...that's worrying for me because most of us, as supporters, even knew that these guys hadn't merited starts! The whole team looked lethargic, off the pace and completely devoid of ideas and inspiration! In truth, this has, invariably, been the case since we absolutely ragdolled the scum in the SCSF! What's happened to us since then is as puzzling as it is infuriating, as it is heartbreaking! Mr Warburton also spoke previously about keeping a squad on comparable contractual conditions..abandoned!!...for Barton, Kranjcar and Senderos, I'd imagine. Is this why Waghorn hasn't extended? Is this causing disharmony? A disharmony Warburton spoke of avoiding? In my view, MW needs to get back to basics..the very basics HE waxed lyrical about! He needs to drop the, so called, big names and stay true to his ethics by playing the fittest, most dynamic, young guys in the squad because if he sticks with the 'classy' old guard, we're fucked...and so is he!!

If this wasn't the game where the term 'timplosion' was coined then it definitely should have been! Have you ever seen the likes?!! I'm hearing you Scotty, and plenty of good Bears agree...so do I, in the main. I just like to know what they're all about so I can wallow in my hatred for the fuckers. On a more serious note, there's better Bears than me that do good quality research on who's saying and doing what when it comes to those who would do us down, collate that information, and use it to our advantage when the time's right.
