A player who clearly has talent and an eye for goal, needs to improve on his attitude, now being managed by a vuy who ticks all those boxes. I see no issue here if its what the Manager decides.

What are we, 5/6 years on? and trying to bring a calibre of player to the club that results in finishing first and winning trophies. For that, Im willing to let an individuals choice be forgiven. That will not suit everyone, but I'm ok with it.

The first part here baffles me if you are making reference to me, its a bit of a strong judgement based on me giving examples of players who i think Gerrard will keep on.
I dont think he will improve massively on his defensive game, but I do think others could help him out there and allow his strong points to flourish.
We have different opinions, Im not sure its going to change where we agree on this one.

The defensive side of his game is clearly needing worked on, thats not in doubt. I would give him a chance playing along side a solid defensive pairing, or better still as a wing back if we play 3 at the back. Again the key would be that those central three are of a far better standard than what we have seen the last 5 years.
Also worth noting the OP asked who gerrard will keep, he will have no choice but to pick some of these players to make up is main pool of say 15/16.

Mcrorie, Tav, Candeias would all play in next seasons starting 11, I would probably like to see cummings paired with a decent number 10. Get Morelos to fuck, sick of his sunday league finishing.

Stop losing at home, compete against the bheasts and actually beat them. Be within a shout of winning thebleague after the split.
I can decide if us being in Europe is a good or bad thing for his first season, might get taken out of our hands.

He really needs punted in the summer, I hate disliking one of our own players, especially one who HAS scored a fair few goals. But he just pisses me off so much with his crabbit looking dish and his pathetic finishing. Also selfish as fuck.

Forget the big name, forget the fancy name, forget the glittering playing career, lets go out and get a manager who actually assembles a squad on a decent budget and pisses on those around him. Yes, Derek Adams, look at his record and then look again. 3rd smallest budget in league 2, gets a shambles of a club to play off final, next season wins promotion, 2nd smallest budget now in League one and currently sitting in the play-offs.
His record shits and pisses all over FDB, he is far more suited to our budget.

Murty was given a job way above his station, but to some point he had/has done ok over the months.
This confirms today though, that yes he needs replaced in the summer, BUT, this shower of absolute fucking cowards need to take a look at themselves on the park. Regardless of tactics, strategy, positions etc, if you go on the park and allow the likes of Scott Fucking Brown to rule the roost, then get the fuck out of here. Andy Halliday shouting at Murty was a joke, how can that fuckwitt can even think for one second he deserved to remain on the park is beyond me.
Yes Murty has to go, but Im not going to slate the guy for trying to do a job in an impossible situation. Had he walked away weeks ago, christ knows what clown the board would have pulled out the hat.

When it comes to decision making, Morelos always puts himself before the team, he wants to score from a ridiculous angle when a square pass would see a team mate slot home, he really is starting to piss me off with it.

The problem with people suggesting Windass be dropped to allow for two strikers is, Josh brings goals, 17 this season if Im right in thinking. Its taking away goals in hope of probably just replacing them at best.

I dont know if its been said already, but I actually think Gerrard was raging with the attacking side of the team, at this early stage he doesnt want to tare into them. Im sure he will come away from this knowing changes will be made.
Also lets see how the other two new guys get on as they can play next round.
