  1. I am usually the pessimistic one but i am point blank refusing to believe that we cannot win the Scottish Cup, no way could i stomach them winning a treble.
  2. What gangster because i can verify that in seconds.
  3. A bit of luck today and those 2 or 3 players of quality we could have won. We weren't far away granted over a season Celtic are miles away. At Hampden or at Ibrox again with the right additions, i believe even in spite of the management team, we could take them.
  4. I completely agree. I don't see any way back for him now. To me we are playing out time until this board find the balls to bin him and find a man befitting the job. The club is sleepwalking right now and it's not good enough for the tens of thousands who are ploughing hard earned cash in every week to follow and support us. The board are failing us in that respect. It's high time they manned up. My worry is and i think i am justified is they don't have a clue where to turn or what to do.
  5. But they are clearly not though. We now know where we are. We've played everyone twice. We can beat them all on our day. January recruitment is key, we need those 3 or 4 better players to enhance this team, not squad, the team. Get them and i honestly believe we can do it. And the manager has to stop this rotation, lean squad, keep everyone happy pish. Play the strongest team and get us on a long winning run. Confidence is key. I don't think we need consistency. Cups have shown some crazy results over the years from underdogs and teams off form. It's a one off match and i think in a one off match, we could take anyone in Scotland, including Celtic. if we can avoid Parkhead in the draws until Hampden, there is really no excuse for failure. We shouldn't be losing to anyone in this country or anywhere. We have a long break now and a chance to bring in a couple of players. We must ensure they are of genuine quality.
  6. The Drybrough Cup moment on the near touchline where he knocked it over 2 rats heads was brilliant. Can't mind if he then cut inside and was taken clean out or not but it was different class from him.
  7. There's absolutely no reason why a Rangers player cannot have any pair of boots not only moulded to his feet but made in any colour he chooses. Why Andy accepted green boots from Nike is beyond me. Could not believe it when i saw him in green boots.
  8. Absolute nonsense isn't it? Trophies are what have made us who we are. Thanks to winning trophies we currently have the bragging rights over every other club in the world. Thanks to winning trophies we can lord it over our fiercest rivals. Thanks to winning so many trophies this club will never lose it's need to win more. We've all tasted them. We've all been there when we've won them and i guarantee we all want more. The club deserve more. We haven't won the Scottish Cup in a very long time, this year is the most important year for us to win it since i can remember as it will hold so much meaning. None more so than proving we can still win major honours but also stopping Celtics charge towards a domestic treble. They are not a good side and to see such a mediocre team win a domestic clean sweep would be humiliating, not just for Scottish football but even more so for us. No way can we let it happen. The Scottish Cup is imperative regardless of what people on here say about it. This year is a must. Forget the league now, that will take care of itself, we will get 2nd. Everything should be put into winning that Scottish Cup.
  9. Last chance at stopping a Celtic treble. Scottish Cup is quite simply now a must win. 2nd will come, that's a given.
  10. Opinions, i don't have a problem with yours, i probably actually agree with it to be honest. In an ideal Rangers team Halliday would be lucky to make the odd fleeting sub appearance, he's a regular now because we have no one else. He will find himself out the team soon enough as we bring in a higher quality of player.
  11. It's time the board stopped sleep walking over our on field situation and started to run us in a way befitting our clubs stature. Or you are right, it will be indefinitely and all our records will be gone, to them.
  12. Very difficult question and one our board will have to answer, it's their decision. Who i want may be unrealistic or not good enough for you or many others. It's a matter of opinion on here. Put on the spot i'm struggling to answer right now if i'm being honest. I would need some time to think. He has to be a winner, ruthless, intelligent and ambitious. Have far more experience than 70 odd games and some sort of track record of being able to do the job. Would Marcelo Gallardo be out of our league? Huge success in South America, possibly looking for a route to a big European league via European football and domestic success in the UK. I don't know. King and Gilligan probably don't even know how he is. Lars Lagerback is the same age as Walter, is he too old? Tremendous experience. To steady our sinking ship. I don't know. Is Frank De Boer as unrealistic as Rodgers was for Celtic? Is that the level we have to look at. Just names, open to ridicule and mocking of course as people like to do. Bottom line for me is Mark Warburton just isn't a Rangers manager. He's just not. Nothing about him says to me, Rangers manager. The next appointment is huge for the Rangers board, i don't think they can afford another failure.
  13. I've no problem with you thinking that mate, i on the other hand have seen more than enough. Some of the reason i posted on here earlier and there are many other reasons as well. It's a game of opinions i guess mate.
  14. New year and a new manager. The build for next season should stat tmrw. Without fail.
  15. Imagine O'Halloran had that chance that Waghorn had when he had a straight run at goal but couldn't outrun Scepovic i think it was. Waghorn looked so so slow and blew a great chance. If that MOH, no one would have caught him. Of course he may not have had the composure to finish but i am sure had Waghorn had pace he would have been better squaring the ball to the left to the player who would have had an open goal. Waghorn was rotten and didn't trouble them at all, as poor as MOH has been i think his pace would have had their defence thinking far more than they had to with MW.
  16. I genuinely couldn't tell you where he plays as he is all over the place.whether it is CDM or CM or RCM or whatever, he really doesn't suit playing in midfield. I've seen him line up on the right side of central midfield. The right! He doesn't have a right foot at all, it's absolutely crazy.
  17. If Miller had scored that from Hallidays incredible assist this thread wouldn't have happened. Fine margins.
  18. He's all those things but he is contributing nothing in this team and that can't go on forever.
  19. Garner is another i feel sorry for. Gives his all but is completely out of his depth in this team. He would probably do so much more in a Walter Smith team for example. The manager does his players no favours at all.
  20. He's an animal, a classless wee Nidroid nyaff. Rangers have always had players who can look after themselves, even McCoist had a couple but Warburton has filled our squad with wee fancy dan boys who would rather look good and jump out of tackles than smash an opponent, leave him on the floor and charge forward without a care in the world and score a goal whilst he is lying in his own blood. We're a team of wee boys. I think that's why we struggle on the road, not enough leaders, not enough bottle, not enough balls and obviously not enough winners. 40 goals last season and he is happy to be a sub this year, sums up the level of his ambition.
  21. It was one of Holts more industrious games this season and he was having a better game than a few others. Waghorn was a disgrace when he came on. I don't recall him ever doing anything when he has come off the bench in games, not off top of my head anyway. He is very much a player who has to be firing on all cylinders and starting games to do anything. That said, i always thought he would struggle at this level and i think we are not seeing that, he just isn't good enough. Is still to sign a new deal too. If we can offload, i would.
  22. Griffiths. He had a wee private party on the pitch after the final whistle. It was embarrassing.
  23. He took 2 players off who were having better games, albeit still not good enough, so i am not so sure he did see it. He has a real soft spot for Tav.
