The idea of footballers being supporters is a lot of shite anyway. Guys like Halliday may have an idea what it is to be a Rangers player compared to others but he's not a supporter is he? Even guys that played for us for years that people would describe as real Rangers men are very rarely back at Ibrox to watch a game unless they are getting paid for it in some way. Most modern day footballers are only loyal to the money and look at the club as their employer first and foremost.
