  1. I said they need a day off, not just to recharge but a day away can work out better than zero days off. No matter how much they are paid. Then smash it in training for all the other days.
  2. Also it's better for their mental health getting a day off. If they are there all the time they will naturally start resenting it just like we all do with work.
  3. Win every week and they can all have a free bottle of wine too.
  4. I'd do a drugs test on his face. If he's not injecting his cranium with anabolic steroids then I'll eat my cat.
  5. Yep he agreed to sign just before it was known we'd be demoted but administration put the kibosh on it. He looks like a low budget CGI character now.
  6. What the actual fuck is that! Tevez is like excuse me whilst I extract tonight's sweetcorn mate?
  7. Fair enough. But would you not be even slightly offended if you had a loved one dying with MND and some pricks said that stuff about them?
  8. I seen the comments on afc chat. I'm not easily shocked in this cruel world but the comments about Fernando were absolutely horrific. Well done Club1872 for not letting this slide. There's a good chance a few demented dons will be getting their doors kicked in by the plod.
  9. This is the Lee Wallace I remember and would be first choice. He was like a greyhound back then.
  10. Wrong side of 30 now. Will never have the pace he was known for when he was 24-25. A combination of injuries and he's naturally bulkier now. Not looking good for him which is a pity but moving forwards, there is better to be had out there. Will always be appreciated for sticking around when we needed it the most.
  11. If we want to move forwards then it was the right move selling this non committed wee weasel. I refuse to get all misty eyed over McKay. Frustrated the life out of me. Onwards and upwards
  12. I for one wont be getting all misty eyed or reminisce about the banter years BS. (really hate that phrase) Absolute shite times.
  13. That's a bit extreme lol seriously if he stayed fit for long enough and got back into his rhythm I think he'd be a good option to have in the squad.
  14. He's not an average player. He's just forever rusty with all the time off and injuries. He's not been fit for long enough to show his class.
  15. I still remember Warburton and his monthly 7-10 days BS. Think he meant to say 7-10 years. We need a definitive answer regarding Rossiter. I'd absolutely keep him, but only if we know the whole truth of his injuries and whether or not he will be forever injury prone. Such a waste.
  16. He was never a serious consideration. He's been utterly abysmal since leaving Everton. Him and Rangers don't mix.
  17. The entire brutal experience reached a climax when we failed to get out of the championship at the first time of asking. That Motherwell game was near soul destroying. Absolutely dire times they were.
  18. They must have had a shitload of material to choose from. Especially during the McCoist era
  19. Got to be John, realistically. EPL experience, young, potential etc. Wallace has not been consistent since the Championship really. Will always be respected for sticking with us though so it's a tough one.
