Don’t think we’ve been too bad at all, we’re certainly still in this. Just wish we would try and play quicker passes and open them up through the middle. Too slow to move the ball to then just play it out wide just allows them to get men back and pack the box.

It’s one of those that everyone will see it differently. I think when Horner and red bull are saying racing incident it shows they know Max was in the wrong. I don’t think Max was deliberate as such, but he was fuming after that pit stop and his inexperience/ immaturity clouded his judgment and he decided he was never giving that place up even if it resulted in an accident. Think Damon Hill got it pretty spot on. You’ve got a point about grid penalty’s and time penalty’s, but with the current rules as they are and circumstances like today when both cars are out the race I really don’t think the stewards could have done anything else once they’d come to the conclusion that Max was at fault. If he’s stayed in the race he probably would have got a time penalty, but given he was judged to have been at fault for the accident he really can’t complain that it’s because he was out the race that he got the grid penalty.

Think this picture shows just how lucky Lewis was. Good to see the halo doing it’s job, in the past we could have easily had a fatality today.

What else could they do? If he’s at fault (and I agree he was) then they have to give him some sort of penalty, and they can’t give him a time penalty when he’s out the race anyway. For me it’s probably the right decision in the circumstances.

For someone who called Lewis disrespectful after silverstone for celebrating when he didn’t even know max was in hospital, you would think he would at least check on him when he’s under the the wheels of his car! Anyway glad to see Lewis was ok, watching it in slow mo it’s amazing how something like that can happen without serious injury. Interesting to see what the stewards make of the incident. Thought max should have backed out much like Lewis did on the first lap, there was only one way that could end otherwise and it happened. Shame as it could have been a great battle between them.

Bottas replacing Kimi at Alfa confirmed. Not sure if Russell to merc is officially yet but today’s news as good as confirms it. Will be interesting to see how he does, next year could be thrilling with Lewis, Max and George all going for the title.
